Well yeah, why would they now? His stupidly has saved them a ton of money either due to cutting him should he be guilty or by giving him a severely reduced contract becaue of the headache, should he be innocent.

I would guess it is to either say 1) not moving forward with charges/clear his name or 2) further investigation.

I don’t think you see press conferences to announce charges normally, a DA would just file them as normal and then a warrant would be issued to appear/arrest.

Seems like a tiny bit of possible good news from my perspective right now. But who really knows until this announcement.

When these things involve a high profile individual, usually there is some sort of announcement due to interest. Otherwise the office will be fielding calls and requests for interviews nonstop.

I agree. I think this is likely that the investigation has concluded and he is cleared. I could be way wrong, but it doesn't make sense to tell us they are going to charge him.

Even if he isn't charged with anything, couldn't he still be subject to discipline through the league's conduct policy? A suspension of some kind?

declined to file charges but the state child protection people will still be involved with the child for the foreseeable future. Said they believe a crime was committed but cant prove anything. Don't think this gets him out of the woods yet as the NFL could still suspend him but i guess good news for those holding onto this scumbag

Her, pregnant with twins, or him, who had already choked her out and punched her in her pregnant stomach in trying to kill her u born child in the past. If the NFL suspended Zeke for 4 games on speculation, Hill gets at least 8 I would imagine.

From a non football perspective, I really hope CPS is heavily involved and is able to prevent another incident to that poor kid.

Someone proven to beat and choke his pregnant girlfriend doesn't get the benefit of the doubt imo. One way or another, that is not a safe home.
