Hollywood's route running still has a long way to go before it's anywhere near AB's, and AB was physical for his size, and had amazing ball skills, neither of which Hollywood has ever shown. If Hollywood can hit 1000 yards and 8 TD's consistently I'll be happy.

I just hope this weight gain doesn't cause him to get injured. Players gaining a ton of weight quickly doesn't always work out well.
Tried to tell anyone that would listen he would gain weight as he aged and got into a pro program. Pretty obvious he has added muscle. In the NFL that’s a good thing and if anything it should help him stay healthy.

It would be a lot to ask to develop like AB but he has all the tools and quite a bit more speed.

I don't think he'll ever have the ball skills, or physicality AB played with, but he can definitely still be a really good player.

I've been attempting to acquire him, but it seems his owners are as high on him as I am. The health and weight were my biggest concerns with him.

I asked about him in one of my leauges. The owner just said "you won't want to pay what I'd ask." So yeah, his owners aren't sleeping on his potential. Wish I had more than one share of him.

Same, I have 1 share across 4 leagues. I've asked in all 3 leagues and I'm being asked for top flight WR/RB straight up.

He was given away for Stidham, D Freeman, Humphries and D Knox in a league I'm in. It is a 16 team league and it was before the Patriots signed Cam. I'm not huge on Brown, but understand he has value and would have given more than this to get him.

i doubt he loses a step. he was playing light to reduce stress on his foot, and really only gained a net positive of 5-10 lbs from is pre-injury weight.

i doubt he ever approaches anything close to AB production, but that's not solely on him. Systems and volume matter just as much as talent matters for elite production. Diggs is probably his ceiling and the same set of issues Diggs owners deal with.

But unfortunately, we're going to have to change the thread title soon.

I'd argue AJB still might be. BUT, right now, yeah, take the seat my friend. Even going to bump one of your other threads right now. A well deserved bump.

Best value is debatable, especially after McLaurin surprised. Brown just had no business being available for the price he was.

Probably would have had a bigger day if the lead wasn't so big.

You are right. Mclaurin is probably better value for most, as he was 3rd round or later for most leagues. Diontae also 3rd or so.

Hollywood would put up crazy numbers if Baltimore had to play the second half of their games occasionally. I'm excited for them to have a few closer matchups.

I'm curious to see if he can keep up the production week to week

Hindsight's a beautiful thing - but I still think you made a great call at the time. I can remember the Terry M. discussions around then... "He's already 24, poor breakout stats... I want no part of him" - he was way more off the radar.

Hollywood was an absolute beast in college, but the size concerns really managed to scare a lot of people away. You correctly diagnosed that the way the league is going, size isn't everything anymore.

As a Charter Member of his fan club I couldn't be happier given our draft takes place before the NFL Draft.

2019 Early Bird Draft

1.02 2 Ice Metcalf, DK SEA WR (R) Mon Apr 22 7:04:47 p.m. ET 2019 3 minutes 187.10 To no ones surprise I took DK and his massive upside. (Comments Added Mon Apr 22 8:26:54 p.m. ET 2019)

1.03 3 Ice Brown, Marquise BAL WR (R) Mon Apr 22 7:34:03 p.m. ET 2019 29 minutes 146.40 Some think Reach most likely but he is a cross between A. Brown and Tyreek Hill on tape. Now eat a sandwich or three! (Comments Added Mon Apr 22 8:28:10 p.m. ET 2019)

And It looks like he listened and put on the needed weight.
