Could you post the results before that pick?

I very much doubt he gets open at will in the NFL, though. The Big 12 and the NFL are not the same thing. Not saying he can't succeed, but on top of my worry about his size, his landing spot is horrible. Anyone who thinks it's a great spot is trying to justify their selection of him early pre NFL draft.

I love him and have been taking him everywhere, as early as 1.06 when I felt I had to. The landing spot is undeniably awful though. I'd say the worst imaginable in that other teams have bad passers, but no-one else looks set to build around one. The Ravens seem all in on Lamar though and as bad as he looked as a passer - and he did look dreadful- it was an awful situation to come into. I'm banking on growth from Lamar, Marquise being so damn good as to be QB proof, or waiting three years for any return. It will no doubt me a decision I regret, but he was the best receiver by such a distance on film that I just can't pass him by.

Why wouldn't he get open? John Brown weighs 6 lbs more than him and posted elite separation numbers vs. press and man last season. This idea that weight has anything to do with running routes and getting open couldn't be further from the truth. Really good route running and separation skills ALWAYS translates to the NFL.

Brown just went 1.05 in our draft last night. Superflex PPR - 10 team. First round went like this.

1.01 Murray
1.02 Jacobs
1.03 Sanders
1.04 Harry
1.05 Brown
1.06 Campbell
1.07 Fant
1.08 Montgomery
1.09 Haskins
1.10 Hockesnon

Drafts will be all over the place. Just pick with your gut and who you like. That's my advise!

I was able to grab him at the 2.01 in my 12 man league. Didn’t really want another WR, but I couldn’t pass up that value.

Last year in two SF leagues I saw RoJo go as high as 1.03 and as low as 2.05.

You're right but I think this can be said about a lot more than just Marquise this year. There's not really too many top tier guys besides Jacobs and Harry... Hock and Fant seem good but people are worried about taking TE very early. All the WR seem like toss ups at this point and no one can really say who the 2nd best RB prospect is (although my money is on Sanders).

This will likely be a year where you can get great talent in the 2nd round of you can find the right guy

Not really surprised but this. I have him a top 5 pick. Owners that look longer term are considering his off the chart separation skills. The pull of this player is strong but the FF owner has to project where the teams offense will be in a year or two.

The common theme this draft in the FF community is the thinking there are not tier one players so a consensus pick at WR isn't there.

We could look back in a couple of years and realize there are several tier one guys.

What seems a bit more interesting this year is there are many FF owners looking for reasons not to take a player as to reasons to take a player.

DK 3 cone
Brown size
Murray size
Harry separation issues
Campbell route tree
Montgomery YPC
Sanders fumbles
Hardman experience
Deebo injury concern
AJ Brown Location
and on and on.

Pick your guy, don't see many busts in this draft although we all know there will be.

My WR Rankings post draft are: (My top 2 are locks; Still tweaking the last few before my draft)
DK
M. Brown
Deebo
Hardman
Campbell
AJ Brown
Harry
