Re: Marquise Brown is the best value in the draft
Certainly the best value in my draft at least, when I took him at #12. I'm thankful my leaguemates were scared off by the size/Lamar concerns.

Re: Marquise Brown is the best value in the draft
I got him at 1.16 last year!
What's wrong with Hollywood brown?
he had a pretty good week 1 but has been a bit of a ghost since then. Few balls he should have had so a few times lamar missed him wide open.
Just some normal growing pains or cause for real concern?

Re: What's wrong with Hollywood brown?
Lamar isn't the most accurate QB. He missed Hollywood for an easy long TD last week, or the box score would have looked a lot different. He's still young.

Re: What's wrong with Hollywood brown?
Uhhhh, nothing. He had a good week one, week two he put up a line that top receivers put up 5-8 times a year, then week three Lamar threw for 98 yards.

Re: What's wrong with Hollywood brown?
His receivers dropped some crucial passes this week, including Marquise Brown.
Don't think anyone should be hitting the panic button, but that whole offense is in a bit of a funk.
Re: What's wrong with Hollywood brown?
Actually twice he blew by defenders and the Lamar missed him for 2 easy scores.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 12:53 pm Lamar isn't the most accurate QB. He missed Hollywood for an easy long TD last week, or the box score would have looked a lot different. He's still young.

He's a WR on the Ravens, did someone think they were gonna turn into the Chiefs passing offense this year?

In that same Twitter thread, he runs the data for up to 184 lbs and less than 70 inches tall. One hit. Brett Perriman, 1995.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:45 pmBrown weighs 180 pounds.DJB wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:24 pm This is whats wrong with him...

Fair. Not sure why bother running one for under 170 pounds, though, it doesn't pertain to the player.Pac_Eddy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 3:49 amIn that same Twitter thread, he runs the data for up to 184 lbs and less than 70 inches tall. Re: What's wrong with Hollywood brown?
Well, it kind of does. Brown did weight in the 170s last year. Now he's bulked up. If there were a ton of WRs who weighed in the 170s and were successful, the size argument would be shot.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:29 amFair. I don't think his size is the issue with not meeting fantasy football expectations right now though. It's more the Ravens having relatively few pass attempts and game flow. They were up big in weeks 1 and 2 and wanted to kill the clock with the run game.

That, and Lamar missing throws. With the lower targets, when he's open for that big play, Lamar has to hit it, or Hollywood isn't going to have a good week.Pac_Eddy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:42 amWell, it kind of does. Can you imagine if Hollywood were drafted by the Chiefs, Seahawks or Packers? I think he'd be a monster.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 5:36 amThat, and Lamar missing throws.
