Re: Marquise Brown is the best value in the draft
If Hollywood keeps delivering WR1 and WR2 production, he will be the best value in ANY draft.

The NFL's good WR's are making that play.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 10:39 pmThat play could have been made by a lot of WR's. They sold out for the run on that play. It was a slant, but it was play action. Willie McGinest broke that one down. Not saying his speed/quickness and route running didn't help, but quite a few guys in the league are making that play.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 1:01 pmEven funnier when you realize one of the plays was a slant route where he broke a tackle and took it to the house. The Dolphins were clearly trying and Brown just made them look lethargic.Phaded wrote: ↑Thu Sep 12, 2019 12:57 pm I would probably quit on the game too if Hollywood made me look this foolish too. People are acting like Hollywood made these plays in garbage time or when the game was over.
Hollywood did what he did early in the game while missing offseason time, on a minimal snap count and still injured. Anyway you slice it, it was impressive.
I don't get the notion of downplaying this and saying the Dolphins aren't a "real" NFL team. Of course Brown is going to have some bad games this year. He's a rookie after all and he's still being eased in from his injury.

The way some people here will hold onto a vice grip of their initial opinion is.. okay, well not surprising I've been here a while.

Just pointing out the Dolphins stink. My biggest concern is his durability. Like I said, I drafted him, but he's already banged up and on the injury report after playing 12 snaps. I'm interested to see if he can hold up to a full year, year in, year out.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2019 4:03 amThe NFL's good WR's are making that play.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2019 10:39 pmThat play could have been made by a lot of WR's. Seems like these days almost every player is on the report every week. It's a coaching tactic at this point.

Re: Marquise Brown is the best value in the draft
That last catch that pretty much sealed the game was a beauty. Lamar did miss a few throws that should have been easy completions today. They weren't necessarily to Brown, but he wasn't as lights out as last week. Still a lot better than most gave him credit for. Will be fun to see he and Brown grow together

Hahaha, I also remember around draft day, in this thread I think, saying he had a chance at 100 targets this year only to get blasted as if I was crazy. 18 in two games is impressive.
Today 100 targets now seems conservative.
