Per the Chicago Tribune.. "The Bears aren't just answering the phone about Jordan Howard, they're dialing out."
https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/f ... story.html

Might be an even larger uptick for Cohen? The Bears do not pick until 87. I imagine they would be adding someone somewhere if they do part with Howard.
Hearing they are interested in Sanders. I think they will draft one.
I saw a twitter post somewhere that they have quite a few meetings set up with various rookie RBs. It looks very likely they draft one.

Expensive buy lows:

Dalvin Cook, LF (not a fan myself though), Kerryon Johnson may not be a buy low but I think his value will sky rocket after 2019, Aaron Jones, Marlon Mack. Kareem Hunt (best bargain you can get these days). All guys that can typically be had for varying 1st round rookie picks that could easily become RB1's in 2019.

Cheaper buy lows: Duke Johnson, Kenyan Drake, Kalen Ballage, Rashaad Penny (could be in the expensive buy lows category), James White, Austin Ekeler, Kenneth Dixon, RoJo (not a fan but if he can be had for a late 2nd that's worth the gamble), Nyheim Hines,

Avoids: Damien Williams, Jordan Howard, Lamar Miller, Gus Edwards, CJ Anderson, Ajayi, Chris Carson

Interesting that you have Carson in the Avoid category - what are your thoughts?

Because of the situation? - To me, he looks every bit as talented as Penny (if not more so). But Penny definitley has a significant edge when it comes to draft capital. And Carson is locked up for a few years

Carson was really good last year, he consistently got 3-4 yards on every play and was a grinder in short yardage situations but Penny was clearly more dynamic on his limited touches. I expect a much more even split this season with the possibility of Penny taking the majority time share. Why I say to avoid Carson is because he's currently signed through 2020 on a deal paying him like 600k a year with only 30k dead cap if they cut him at anytime. Guys like that who lack draft capital and salary capital are guys that fall out of grace extremely quick with their team. It could be for a number of reasons: Penny becomes clearly better, Carson gets hurt, Carson's play slows down ect. We see it happen all the time with guys in Carson's situation where the team has no ties to them, Collins, Ajayi, Ty Montgomery just to name a few. I think a lot of people that are buying/selling are in the market for a RB2 which I do not believe he will be long term.

I am a great admirer of Carson's tape. Dude has been consistently injury prone since high-school, though.

I believe Carroll said he views Penny and Carson as a 1A, 1B situation, and he's not even saying who is 1A and 1B, is about what he said, I believe. Penny is more explosive, but Carson is much harder to bring down. I think Carson had his career year, but I don't believe he goes away completely. He still looks like the better goal line back, and early down guy on certain types of runs. Carson runs hard, and gives is tough as nails. Penny definitely came on closer to the end of the year, and I believe he gains an increased role to start the year. Who knows how it goes, but I would not be expecting Carson to gain 1100 yards again.

I can't see that getting it done. His value is at least what Ingram's was the last year and a half or so once Kamara emerged

Crowell (people have given up, perhaps rightfully)
Coleman/Brieda/McKinnon/Mostert (uncertainty)
White (unless market has accounted for Gronk retirement)
