Trying to flip Godwin for Kerryon Johnson in a keeper league. That's pretty wild that the guy is even entertaining the offer in my mind.

Went 3-51-1 on 6 targets in week 1.
Went 8-121-9 on 9 targets in week 2.

That's a great start! I have heard that Mike Evans is battling an illness, which may play a part, but I haven't seen any of the games. I admit that I tempered my expectations going into this year despite all the off-season love.

Has anyone seen a Tampa game this year and has Godwin looked as good as his stats are indicating?

Godwin has good separation on almost every route he runs, he actually should have been 9 for 9 on his targets last night but jameis through the 1 target too wide causing Godwin to drift out of bounds while making the reception, only could get 1 foot inbounds.

Evans looked really frustrated all night, seems like him and Jameis can't get into rythem and most of his looks are erratic and off target. Jameis seems to throw a lot better to Godwin for some reason.

He’s so good he caught 9 TDs on 8 catches!

In all seriousness though, he looks really good out there. Running smooth routes and catching everything thrown his way. I can’t find the snap % from last night yet, but he’s out there on almost every play.

He is definitely looking the part. He catches everything and has excellent separation. I'm not ready to call him the WR1, but he very well may be 1B, especially with the lack of TE targets so far.

This shouldn't be a surprise, Evans is drawing the main corner and Jameis loves the guys who work the middle.

extrapolation is so fundamentally flawed that I won't even explain. The logic doesn't add up, ever. It isn't a reflection of how football works. Matter of fact, it shows a lack of understanding and far too many that peruse these threads, will let something stupid like that effect their evaluation and it fundamentally screws things up.

Godwin has looked good though, and I'm assuming that is what you're trying to say. I'm comfortable saying he is a solid 1B to Evans 1A and that Winston is lucky to have them. In a way it is similar to Diggs and Theilen in Minnesota. One could make the case for either but it'll be tough week to week to pick the more productive or involved wr. This will likely happen. To assume that Godwin has leapfrogged Evans is also a mistake in my opinion. Could it happen, sure, look at juju and A.Brown..... lol. Anyway, His production will be up and down depending on Evans health, opposing defensive backs, opposing defensive strategy as far as double coverage on Evans etc. Now, it seems some should probably cool their jets a bit.... when people start extrapolating off of small sample sizes - it drives me absolutely nuts. :wtf:

I feel like his value was already high. Not sure if it's going to go higher or if the production is just backing up the value now

DON'T FREAK OUT! Lol. It was actually just a tweet I saw this morning and found it impressive. I certainly don't buy into the "on pace" arguments. (Even though I torture myself with them every Sunday when one of my guys runs/catches/throws a long one or scores TD in the first couple minutes of a game lol.) You are absolutely 100% correct. They never work out. BUT, it has been a couple really nice lines the last two weeks. AND I do want a share.

Yeah it has always been up there and skyrocketed at the end of last season in my experience.

Godwin hasn’t been affordable since his rookie draft.
