Up to you. This was posted before that and all I was really asking was for people's opinion. Didn't expect so much hate for a player drafts in the 3rd round daaaaaaamn

Crap that last part of my previous response wasn't meant to be a response to you specifically but a general response. Apologies on that bud

Not sure if I understand how it compares to Bishop Sankey. Sankey was the first RB drafted that season and if we factor in SPARQ then he was solid. Sankey was a legitimate bust. I'm just arguing the potentional upside to Hunt and Reid has been damn good in picking RBs. They got a bit panicky with their pick though. They really wanted Joe Mixon and thought he would fall further than he did.

Here's Sankey info: https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/bishop-sankey/

lukkynumber13 wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2017 4:11 pm This is very similar to Booker in Denver last season. Mid round pick, solid player, and lots of people hate the starter because he's not sexy. We shall see.
See that is a comparable I can get behind. I did not like booker one bit but did like the situation he was going into and was willing to give him a try in REDRAFT leagues. Wasn't willing to pay the price in Dynasty though. I play in a Denver based league though.... I like this comparison in talent vs. situation a lot.

I like Hunt. I also think Ware is a good player though. The community as a whole is going to assume that the rookie gets the job because that's what we always do. Worth trying to get one if you acquire the other I think.

He's been playing really solid tonight and the coaches have been saying all the right things to indicate that he will play a major role in the offense. The Chiefs main beat reporter even thinks that Hunt will have more yards, carries and receptions than Ware this year and could likely be the starter by Week 1. If thats the case, Hunt - with his all-around ability - has a great chance in being the top rookie rb this year imo. Andy Reid has already been comparing him to Lesean Mccoy, Westbrook, etc which wouldn't be too surprising to me anymore. I think he makes a way bigger impact than Corey Davis this year and I have him as my 1.05 this year.

He looked amazing. Hunt is awesome and is a mid first target. 1.07 range for everyone

I threw in a rookie of the year bet at 50-1 a week ago. $20 is worth a shot at a grand. Fantasy wise, i have the backfield, so hope its not a 50/50 split or something like that. He looked really good tonight. If people are excited about Cook's game last night, i am guessing Hunt will get similar or higher praise.

Here's a pair of quotes from RB Coach Bieniemy...

On Ware:
"No.32 (Spencer Ware), he is obviously a workhorse," Bienemy said. "He is what he is. It is not anything special, he is just a consistent professional player."
On Hunt:
"We have young Kareem Hunt who has been doing an outstanding job picking up the offense, doing a great job of running the football, doing a great job of learning how to protect the proper way. Also, he is doing a great job of catching the football."
We can see which way the RB coach is leaning here...

Let's not overreact to a preseason game. They basically rested their starter in Ware. Only injury will prevent this from being a split. He is not even close to class of McCaffrey, Mixon, Fournett, or cook.

What are you basing this on.....?
I think they know what they have in Ware, dependable, safe, un-inspiring. I see Hunt as the next E. Smith, R. Rice. A. Foster type of RB- people are sleeping on this dude!!

Those are some bold comparisons dmac, we'll see how it plays out for him.

Go watch his underwhelming tape. He is not special. He does nothing great and is not explosive athlete. Good but not great back and Ware is the guy going to get the goal line scores.
