Depending on the 1st, you could have gotten that before Hunt's big game.

I'll be honest, I didn't love him as a prospect. I remember the Dynasty Nerds guys were all over him and I watched several of his games, but he didn't stand out much more than a Jamal Williams or Jeremy McNichols, haha. Shows how much I know...Coogan Football wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2017 3:31 pm I take it as 90% of you didn't like Hunt's college film? Well then ppl should be selling him. I'm saying that and I had him ranked above CMC and Cook. I just think it's 100% the highest percentage play.Statutony wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2017 3:07 pmDepending on the 1st, you could have gotten that before Hunt's big game.

Re: Kareem Hunt Hype Thread
Don't forget Kelvin Benjamin's WR1 campaign after the first game last season. Hunt is probably going to have the craziest fantasy game of this week, but there will surely be others.dm1129 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2017 9:40 am The Hype is out of control. Last year at week 1 these forums were filled with CJ Anderson believers feeling fully vindicated and telling eveyone how he was now going to tear up the league. Hunt defintely did some things very well but last night's game has a very flukish feel to it. Alex Smith also had one of his best games ever. I think Hunt and the KC offense is going to do well, but the NE defense was also hurt and just bad. If I am a Hunt owner, and the Fournette or Mixon owner wants to trade, I do it in a heartbeat.

It's so obvious to tell who is and who isn't a Hunt owner in this thread.

Re: Kareem Hunt Hype Thread
This is a common refrain in any player thread. Usually when you own a player it is because you believe in them. Sure the stars have aligned and even the biggest Hunt truther couldn't see that game happening, but as an owner I am stoked and not looking to sell unless I get an overpay I can't refuse.RockandRollJames wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2017 4:07 pm It's so obvious to tell who is and who isn't a Hunt owner in this thread.

Re: Kareem Hunt Hype Thread
I'd be looking to move him to a believer. Not sure that will be the best game of his career, but I suspect it will be his best game of the season. The KC offensive line simply overwhelmed an undermanned Patriots offensive line. Don't get me wrong, I suspect Hunt can put up RB1 numbers even without matching this game and probably will if he stays healthy, but I also think some people are probably elevating him to the top tier already.

There's a poll on twitter and 50% wouldn't trade him for Fournette.

I have a guy who may do Mixon+ for him. The plus will only increase after he does not do much against a stout ravens d and a smaller workload than later this season.

Re: Kareem Hunt Hype Thread
I like Hunt and liked him before this game. I was making a joke of it because people are being a bit too boastful. "I drafted him at 1.3 and look how genius I am" comments just bother me.
1. Ware went down. Unless you drafted him at 1.3 after the ware injury, you got lucky that the competition to your pick was extinguished.
2. The Pats D was atrocious. Hunt played well but I wasn't awe-struck at any point. It was plays a lot of good backs could make. He ran for a LOT of untouched yards. Also, the long td reception (80 or so yards?)...he should have pretty successfully been tackled on. Bad defense allowed that to go for so long.
Again, I like Hunt and think he's a quality back. I just think it's a bit (falsely) boastful to brag about how smart you are for drafting him when not only has his situation DRASTICALLY improved since most drafts, but the game circumstances (holes he was given, horrible tackling) was set up perfectly for ANY good back to look great. Hunt is a good, capable back. I'd be a seller at great back prices.
