One game should not change your evaluation of a player (barring major injury). This is dynasty. At the same time, the people putting DK in the top 5 all time already need to relax a bit. It's not out of the realm that he develops into that caliber of player, but he's not there. I'll be making offers for DK and Lamb this week trying to find someone with too much redraft mentality.

For someone who had a chance to watch the whole game last night, what slowed DK down? Good coverage? Double teams? Just easier to throw to a wide open Lockett?

Nothing really slowed him down other than Wilson chose to go to other guys. That's the nature of football. Lockett was far from open on most of his catches, Wilson just put it where it needed to be. DK will have more stinkers in his career. All WR's do. Just the way it goes.

I think Pat Pete was on him a lot. I didn't think Pat Pete was still the same guy he was years back, but he is a bigger, athletic Corner. Russ was definitely locked on Lockett

Ya. I believe Al Michaels said last night that DK has had all of his worst games vs the Cardinals. Peterson may just have his number, they have played each other a few times already and Peterson is still very good and a seasoned vet. It happens. Also it may not have helped our fantasy teams but you gotta think it helped DK in every way making that play on Budda Baker. The team is going to remember that one come contract time in a few years. I already have one guy in my league bashing DK to try to get me to sell him to him on the cheap. These sort of tactics are annoying, there is one in every league tho i guess.

I'd hope there's at least one in every league. The guys who send out awful offers may be annoying but they often are my best trade partners.

I'm not bashing DK, Lamb, or Claypool, but you better believe I'm sending out offers after these clunkers. These are the weeks folks with redraft mentality second guess themselves.

You can try but I know wouldn't sell a young DK for the aging Hopkins. Hopkins is probably a plus 3 points per game this season but there is around a 6 year age difference in these two players which would equate to a 6 year season advantage at this point for DK.

Tried this couple weeks ago to get rejected. I think AJB is a a better target who ends up at the same level as DK longterm.

I loooove me some DK but while we’ve all been slurping him and Russ, AJB got healed up and went to work immediately showing why we were all in love with him last season. They are equals imo with maybe a slight edge for AJB.

What was so impressive about DK's performance is prior to the game the SF coach compared to him to Julio Jones and simply couldn't do a thing to stop him..... I remember getting blasted for making that comp before he was drafted.

DK is a monster and will be fun to watch for years especially with Wilson throwing to him. Wilson has helped his development a ton. These two have an incredible work ethic which really shows up on game day.

Its looking something like Brady to Moss. Its getting to the point where DK is consistently putting up RB1 numbers which is especially impressive considering RBs normally outproduce and are more consistent than WR's, but DK has the assumed longevity on his side too. I would put DK top 3 start up, maybe its a bit of homerism, but this 22 year old kid is undeniable at this point

I was definitely wrong on him (as were all 32 NFL GMs it seems). He has been incredible.

I tried overpaying significantly (imo) for him prior to this week 8 game by offering ARob+Evans and was shot down.
