Easy fix on MFL is a universal player lock every week until waivers run.Pac_Eddy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 6:58 amYes. If the player is an NFL free agent, why not? No, as those players are already on Washington's roster, so they will have been locked.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 6:50 pm Are you advocating that a Gibson injury Sunday should allow us to pick up Jarret Patterson Monday, or Jacobs and Barber?

That is the default today. It's a matter of WHEN that lock happens. I'm in a league that does it Sunday at noon, which I think it terrible. Monday night is the best time IMO.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 7:26 amEasy fix on MFL is a universal player lock every week until waivers run.Pac_Eddy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 6:58 amYes. Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
Re: Adrian Peterson As Lead Back Somewhere This Year?
Agreed. The only way to meet half way is to lock all fas at the start of the first game of the week. But Idk that I like that.Pac_Eddy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 6:58 amYes. Re: Adrian Peterson As Lead Back Somewhere This Year?
There tends to be a delay between when a player signs with a team and when MFL updates their database. It can be 24 hours or well more than that. I also hate how players on practice squads are listed as FAs. It was these loopholes that I thought were exploited.Pac_Eddy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 6:58 amYes. There were so many reports about AP going to Tennessee on Monday but technically it seems he hadn't signed to their practice or active squad yet, so I'll stand down.
As an aside, I'm in a league where FAs are allowed to be picked up at all. It works fine because rosters are short.
Getting back to Peterson, anyone else excited about this? I'm not expecting much against the Rams, but I like the schedule after.

After watching all 3 run in this offense, Foreman looked the most explosive of the trio. Not sure how much was rust, but AP looked slow and upright. If I were betting on one of the 3 to rise above the others eventually, my money would be on Foreman.

Re: Adrian Peterson As Lead Back Somewhere This Year?
I picked him up in multiple leagues because of his nice end of season schedule- just had to get past a rough patch and the bye.
Instead,it's that "rough patch" that did him in. Tennessee cut him today, leaving Foreman and PS call up Dontrell Hilliard with injured Jeremy McNichols to man the position. I actually got out bid for Peterson in multiple leagues but managed to get Foreman much cheaper.

I gambled and lost on him in two leagues. That's fantasy football for ya.

I have Foreman, Hilliard and McNichols. I'm not sure any are worth a damn at this point if the timeshare continues.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 8:55 pm I picked him up in multiple leagues because of his nice end of season schedule- just had to get past a rough patch and the bye.

Re: Adrian Peterson As Lead Back Somewhere This Year?
I gotcha but not that bad. McNichols/Hilliard as the 3rd down with a light sprinkling of carries, Foreman as the 2 down with very light target opportunities. Doesn't seem like a cluster committee.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 6:54 amI have Foreman, Hilliard and McNichols. He needs to retire or just make sure he signs with a team that has a good OL.
