I don’t really think anybody has “flipped out” in this thread. At least I haven’t read anything like that. I mean it’s a fun thing to say but it doesn’t seem to be present in this thread.

Sure flipped out is a little hyperbolic, but people seem to be surprised about Holyfield's 40 and catching ability, even though he doesn't win with speed and was never going to run a fast 40 and is never used in the passing game. These results shouldn't be a surprise.

It’s slower than expected for a guy that wasn’t supposed to be fast, but it’s not the death sentence you are making it out to be.
