100 catches is a pretty big stretch, but i like seeing that enthusiasm from a guy who's been watching practice.
There's no reason Lockett can't match prime Baldwin's fantasy production this year. I've happily bought him in most leagues in the past 12 months.

He is an absolute lock barring injury for at least 100 targets. With DK already hurt, no legit TE, no other legit WR competition, he could easily see the Baldwin range of 120ish targets. And if the Seahawks defense finally does fall completely flat and they have to abandon the run game, he could even slide a bit higher. He will also spend a lot more time in the slot this year with Baldwin gone. Lockett played 94% of snaps last year, 16th among WR's, so he rarely leaves the field, which is what you want when projecting your WR's. He still averaged 13.5ppg with Baldwin in the lineup. In the 3 games without, he averaged 14.7 ppg. He is going into the season as the clear WR1, and he's an efficient player tied to a historically efficient QB. Perfect storm coming together for Lockett to have a top 12 season.

Where did you get 165? Lockett weighed in at 182 lbs at the combine, so I'd assume he's still somewhere in the 180-190 range. He's certainly no Julio Jones, but we've seen guys like TY Hilton produce just fine in that weight range.

100 catches is practically impossible for Lockett without a.) an extraordinary target-share, i.e. something way over 25% b.) Wilson throwing something at least approaching 600 times.

Guys, I linked the article and quoted the excerpts mainly to note what a daily practice observer has seen the Hawks doing this offseason. Lockett isn't gonna catch 100 balls, but if he's being heavily featured with designed first reads and practically manufactured touches, a season at least equatable to Doug Baldwin's best seasons is plausible.

For context, what's described is the sort of usage typical of Jerry Rice when he was playing in an era when Joe Montana / Steve Young never threw more than 520 times in a season, and commonly finished with less than 400 attempts -- the Niners moved Rice around the formation constantly to basically scheme him targets.

I don’t think 85+ catches is far fetched at all. 100 could be doable, but not likely.

I could see an 85/1100/8 type season from Lockett. He’s the clear cut WR1 and Wilson’s best passing weapon on the team. And right now, don’t see anyone on the roster that’s a threat to him getting targets.

With the injuries to Moore and Metcalf and Jaron Brown cut, is it still all about Lockett in dynasty? Are Moore and/or Metcalf more spot starter/end-of-bench guys or does anybody see either of them breaking out or even - gasp - ahead of Lockett this year or next?

I don't see DK passing Lockett in the next year or 2. Not likely. Lockett is a solid WR2 if he performs similarly.

I'll be disappointed with anything less than high-end WR2 numbers. Low-end WR1 is plausible, but I draw the line on my optimism there.

I'm moderately confident Hawks are gonna scheme targets to Lockett all over the formation, especially to start the season. Lockett would be a legit tier 1 entry candidate with a pass-happier OC.

High end WR2 is Lockett's absolute ceiling imo. I fully expect this team to be the most run heavy offense in 2019 and they will surpass the 534 rushing attempts from last year. I forcast them for around 560-580 rush att this year. Carson & Penny will both be fantasy relevant this year.

This is almost as unlikely as it is for Lockett to maintain his efficiency from last year. Both categories should regress at least some distance toward the mean.

Last year Seattle had three productive 3-down RBs with which to distribute that rushing load; they've lost Davis, and didn't replace him. That alone almost guarantees they'll run the ball less than in '18, even without getting into historical data.
