2019 Off-Season Trade Thread

Yea, I can see the appeal here if you're rebuilding.

I would personally just try and land those types of players by stocking up on high upside players that are being undervalued (the Aaron Jones/Marlon Macks of the world) instead. 2nd and 3rd rounders come and go, but it's going to be damn near impossible to find another Barkley-- who's so good at all 3 phases of the game he's borderline situation proof.

If you got 3 2020 1sts this would've been a slam dunk; but we'll see what happens. Best of luck to you man.

The problem is that Hockenson, Metcalf and Campbell would all be very late 1st rounders or even early 2nd rounders in a typical draft and two of the firsts are 2 years out and should be significantly discounted. The only piece that I think should be valued as even a top 50 ADP right now is your 2020 1st...maybe the early 2021 1st (if it's from an absolute dumpster fire of a team). I'd want to get at least one established player if I'm moving such an elite talent as Barkley, or at a minimum I'd want to keep Anderson.

While some may hate on the DJ/Kelce trade, you can essentially plug Juju in for Diggs and Davis. Overall happy with the moves. SHould be a good rebuild with Saquon and Juju as cornerstones. Hopefully the sophomore RBs breakout and I'm sitting pretty after year one.

I can see that argument, and I dont necessarily disagree. On the other hand it's always difficult to sell arguably the top stud for full price, as there are never too many teams that can afford to pay exorbitant prices, and as a rebuilding team I wanted a mix of players and picks. I could have definitely lost big on this one, but if some of the picks turn out ok or some of the players develop I still like the deal - time will tell.

Oh, and only thing I'd add is that in TE premium Hockenson is definitely a very early pick, not a late first/early 2nd.

I’m pretty high on Moore, as I think that he “could” be one of the next breakout WRs but I also realize that I’m taking a risk because my roster in this league is really young so there’s that chance that my pick could be early, if things don’t progress, but I personally think it will be a mid-high 2020 1st.
