Tom Brady Retires This Year?

Postby turcorox911 » Thu Dec 20, 2018 2:02 pm

Do you think Tom Brady retires this year?

Also, on an unrelated note, do you think he is playing with a torn MCL and/or bum knee?

That’s the type of article a local news station writes when they can’t come to terms with the fact that their local legend isn’t as good as what he was. He’s not injured, he’s just an old man.

I think Gronk retires, Brady idk. I’ve always thought the “play for ever” stuff was just a cover to avoid having a farewell tour. Wouldn’t surprise me if he retires.

Yeah, the article seems like an excuse. Brady either retires this year or next, no doubt about it. Fitzpatrick might be a decent 1 year replacement for him though.

I doubt Brady retires this year. He has a lot of incentive to play longer to demonstrate his companies success with helping aging athletes.

If he keeps trending in the same direction he will do more damage than good to his business. I think it's easier for him to say he feels like he could play another 10 years, but Giz has told him it's time to be with his family.

Hahahaha oh man I wonder if she lets people call her "Giz".

I honestly think it's 50/50 at this point. If the Pats win another Super Bowl (highly unlikely) I bet those odds get much higher that he retires.

Can't ever count out the Pats. Their coaching, hierarchy, system, and scheme is marvelous. Look at what Matt Cassel of all people did in it. Drew Bledsoe went to a Super Bowl too, plus the Pats went 3-1 with 2 different QBs during Brady's suspension.

Just can't count them out.
