Really? I offered a late 2nd + Ian Thomas for Samuels in a league where I own Conner and got rejected.

I'm considering offering Hines and Tate for Samuels and something else. I asked for round 2 and he said no thanks.

Samuels will have standalone value, try and hold onto him through cuts if you can. I'm surprised to hear people are having trouble selling him to the Connor owner... the guy in my league has inquired a few times, but I'm keen to hold for clarity.

When this many targets are vacated in an offense, it often gets fed back to the RB's with targets in the passing game the year after. That's his role - he's going to be the passing downs / COP guy.
Jaylen's old position coach from NC State was also hired to the PIT staff, and there have been rumblings that they are loving "moving him around" as a weapon in camp.

Unless your rosters are super short - you've GOT to hold.

I'm pretty sure the Steelers have stated that they expect Samuels to be on the field a lot in 2 back sets and to have an expanded roll in the passing game to get him in space.

They hired his former TE coach over the offseason so they seem to be ready to use him in a regular role. I know the Steelers have a 1 back history but that mindset is changing around the league and they may be following suit to an extent.

He's a hold for me through cuts unless your rosters are super short or your team is incredibly stacked.

I moved Samuels to the Conner owner and got the 2.08 in return.

Golden Tate's not even fetching a 3rd where I have him. I'm not sure you can expect to get anything back in that deal.

We've already had our draft, but if I could get a 2nd in 2020, I think that would be my selling point. Best offer I am getting is a 3rd in 2020, probably back end of the round.

I don't think a random 3rd is worth selling when he might have decent stand alone value, and would definitely be in my starting lineup in he ends up as the starter for any length of time.
