By my count that is with 52 games as a Raider and 14 as a Cowboy, not sure that includes playoff games

Re: Cooper to the Cowboys
I was a big supporter of Coop in Oakland, but he was not playing well. He needed a fresh start.Oddball456 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 6:18 amBy my count that is with 52 games as a Raider and 14 as a Cowboy, not sure that includes playoff games

Yeah no idea how many playoff games Cooper has been in - and I was only looking at regular season games.Oddball456 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 6:18 amBy my count that is with 52 games as a Raider and 14 as a Cowboy, not sure that includes playoff games
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..
Re: Cooper to the Cowboys
The November ADP update has Amari Cooper just on the outside looking in at the 1st round (ie most mocks had him 15-16 and his consensus comes to 14). Depending on how the rest of the season goes I could see him definitely surpassing a couple of the current top 12. Regardless his ADP has been quite stable in the 2nd round for the past year and at the very least I do not see that changing in the near future barring unforeseen outcomes.

This is Amari Coopers 4th 1000 yard season (out of a 5 year career).

Re: Cooper to the Cowboys
I got him pretty cheap this off season, glad I did.

Re: Cooper to the Cowboys
I traded him for Sutton last year - still glad I did. He seems more fragile this year and still struggles against good coverage. Good stats last night but in real life didn't look that impressive. Maybe I'm just biased though.
Re: Cooper to the Cowboys
Before the season started I traded OBJ away for Cooper and Moore. Best trade I've ever made.
Amari to Cleveland
Thoughts on this?
I may be in the minority and maybe biased as a Cooper owner, but I don’t hate this if he’s their best option and basically their only option in the passing game.

Re: Amari to Cleveland
Hopefully he's better for Baker than Odell was. It's a downgrade imo even if Dallas had more mouths to feed. I'm not thrilled but he could be the only viable WR on the team so fingers crossed Baker turns it around...
Also, seems like Dallas really had to get out from under that contract. Only got a 5th rounder

Re: Amari to Cleveland
Fantasy wise, I think his stats end up very similar to his highs in Dallas, for the reasons you stated. And I think Baker will like Amari a lot more than OBJ. For the team, OBJ was injured and/or unhappy so often that he was unreliable. Amari should help the offense be more consistent.
I think it's a win-win-win for the WR, QB, CLE, and DAL. And as a Lamb shareholder, I'm thrilled to see him get the undisputed leading role in Dallas.

What a huge reversal for Cleveland. The dramatically overpaid to get OBJ and he was such a disappointment for them they ended up cutting him. Then they get a WR who should deliver at a high level more consistently than OBJ and they get him for peanuts.

It was a good run, Amari. See you on fantasy benches.

Re: Amari to Cleveland
I’m personally happy about this because I’ve been swooping up ARob shares everywhere for 2nds + throw ins and the main place I was most worried he would go is Cleveland, with Detroit being a close 2nd. 1 of those is now likely checked off the list.
That is my way of saying I dislike this landing spot for Cooper, at least for his upside. Combo of run heavy Stefanski and what Baker has regressed to just makes for a bad situation for a WR1. See: OBJ
Amari will be 28 in a few months and the QB situation there might get worse before it gets better. His stock has to be on the downward trajectory from here on out pretty much, right?

Re: Amari to Cleveland
I think that’s a fair argument. I’m torn on if CeeDee lives up to his hype or if the first few seasons we have seen are more predictive of a WR2 career.StripesOfKC wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 12:27 pm Sell window for 20% target share WR2 Ceedee Lamb is open
If you are all out on CeeDee, pivoting off of him for Michael
Gallup + as much as 2x1sts would be a fantastic move. I see Gallup as a 1000+ and 10+ guy as soon as he is healthy again.
