Well, his line was certainly garbage last night. Henry had an awful time of it as well until he broke his one big run. I believe he was at -8 rushing yards until that breakaway. The entire Titans offense last night was terrible.

But last night's game he looked worse than I've ever seen by far. It's no wonder that passing game is dumpster-level terrible.
The regression this season is perplexing.

But it is what it is. Tannehill would likely be a massive improvement over him at this point. TEN is hesitant to make the switch because they're holding out hope Mariota returns to status quo... with each passing game that becomes more and more unlikely.

He’s been this bad for several years now though

He wasn't bad at all in 2017 despite his stats. 2018 he looked bad, but I gave that year a pass because of the Ulnar nerve injury. 2019 he looks even worse than last year. He is seriously missing wide open receivers with regularity, even without pressure. A lot of people will pile on him this season saying bleep like he's always been inaccurate.. but the difference between his play before and now is just night and day. It's not unlike those lambasting Cam for last week claiming he's always been inaccurate and that's just how he is without his running ability even though that was the 2nd worst passing performance of his career.

:wall: Brain-fart.

It's been a long week. But Henry only had 44 yards on 17 carries (2.6 ypc). So the premise still holds. The whole team looked bad.

I'm one of the biggest tennehill haters, I remember getting in to a vivid debate on reddit once with a die hard supporter.

But hell it can't be worse?? Right????

There arent any rumblings yet from the coaching staff. I think they want to evaluate him and the offense once Lewan gets back in week 5. I wouldnt be shocked if they gave Mariota 2 games with Lewan to see if that makes a difference.

Are the 17 sacks in three games all on Mariota? Cause if they’re not, Tannehill will be about the same, but chucking more picks.

I dont care about picks as long as CD gets more quality targets. Haha

So Mariota rebounded at every lvl this Sunday vs the Falcons.

Looked confident, pocket awareness, ball placement and accuracy were pretty much perfect all game and finally got the TEN WR's involved in the passing game.

I am by no means saying that he's turned the corner -- he's had stretches of excellent play only to fall back into mediocrity before-- but it was encouraging to see that he hasn't completely regressed into a 3rd string QB.

And despite 3 out of these 4 games being some of the worst play I've ever seen out of him, he currently sits as the #8 fantasy QB on the season.

The TEN receiving core that's been holding him back his entire career suddenly looks like one of the better cores in the NFL with the emergence of AJB; and he might just be the beneficiary of that.

He had solid protection throughout the game, which is something he lacked for the first three games of the season. Lewan will be back next week, so we should be seeing more good Mariota than bad... well after they play Buffalo at least...
