He's just stupid and dropped the guy at the first sign of bad news, it's just a coincidence of timing and/or poor league setup the same guy had waiver priority both times. Should have FAAB, and I guarantee someone would have max bid for Hill and then wouldn't be able to bid on AB.
That's a little beyond stupid, especially in the off-season, who exactly is he picking up by dropping Tyreek immediately?
If your stupidity gives a free Tyreek Hill and AB to one player I just don't believe it. Those are league altering events.
I guess it's in the realm of possibility but I couldn't be in a league like that.
Like I said, FAAB would have completely avoided the situation. And I've played long enough in enough leagues to know there really are owners out there stupid enough to do something like this.

Not sure what's holding up a suspension/release. Oh, right, he's a star player. Or was?

Rosenhaus is doing the public tour. Apparently they are in talks with the Raiders. I believe Gruden still wants AB, Mayock, probably not so much. I don't think anything has been decided. Nobody on the Raiders has said they were suspending AB. It was a report.

AB just went for N. Hines in one of my leagues.

People are going to regret selling him for nothing in 2 weeks

Until the next incident.

Anyone make any recent moves involving him? Not trying to hijack this.
I traded Brown and Henry for Zeke and a 2020 first (probably mid-round) a couple weeks ago. Didn’t expect to be this happy about it this quickly.

That... looks like collusion to me.
How? Looks like stupidity and fortunate timing to me. Plus FAAB would have eliminated the inequality for the rest of the league.
Because it's the same owner that gets a free AB as well as a free Tyreek. Pretty sketchy if you ask me.
I'd definitely keep an eye on this, that is some unbelievable luck...

The guy who claimed Hill is like my brother. No way he'd be in on it. Its pure supidity and pure luck

This should be a lesson on why FAAB is far superior.

Here's an article breaking down how and why the Raiders can get out of the contract without paying AB a dime.

The only signing bonus was in the form of two $500,000 offseason workout bonuses, one for 2019 and one for 2020. He did meet the participation threshold for his 2019 bonus so did not receive it, therefore the rest of the money is straight salary which can all be voided by a Conduct Detrimental suspension.

Well apparently he's apologizing now. Probably just trying to get to Sunday/Monday for his money.

Raiders really need to cut their losses and get out of this for nothing financially, and eat the loss of picks, while they can. This "apology" is obviously an act and issues are going to come up again. If they do keep him I won't be surprised if Mayock resigns.

technically ripping out someone's heart and squeezing the life out of it is also "heartfelt"
