I consider that a bit of an overreaction. AB apologized, which isn't enough to justify his actions, but it's something.

All things considered, Mayock benefits more with AB on the field than off it and in a legal battle.

Just like Reggie last year, Gruden is letting his GM twist for decisions that clearly come from him.

I think it's telling that Tomlin sent him home for a must win game for less than what AB just did. It's a terrible prescedent to set...but then again, so was signing Incognito.

The Raiders fell apart last year in large part due to Gruden's constant passing of the buck. The team has the same 'leadership' and more volatile personalities on the roster. This could implode very quickly.

And an apology with 30 mil in the balance has to be taken with a grain of salt. I hope he gets his act together, but right now I honestly think we're in genuine mental breakdown territory.
