failblazer wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2020 8:39 am Realistically, I don't see an owner giving more than a 2nd this season for him. If you're getting a 1st then I consider moving him but I doubt I will get offered that. I think the hope is that he is productive enough to show that he is still the Antonio Brown we remember and then he heads into FA and gets picked up by a team where he can have a more clear path to being a true starter.
Someone in my league sent a 4th in a trade for AB right before he signed, a week later, sold AB himself for Kenyan Drake (after he signed). I think if he plays like AB his value will continue to rise. Wouldnt surprise me to see a contender give up a 1st if he balls out in his first game

Pretty difficult game to evaluate him on.

I didn't watch it, but I watched the highlights and it seems like AB was on the field a lot

He played pretty much the entire game. He's still got it, but he was rusty. He and tom were not on the same page yet.

My takeaway is that all 3 of those receivers (And even miller+johnson) will get targets, as expected. Also, the defensive plan was still to double Evans and cover him with Lattimore.

Back when Brown got signed by Tampa Bay, I figured that if he was on the field, he would be the WR1 on the team. Sure Evans got the TB, but Brown sure seems like the best one in the lineup. It's great to see that after he took 1 1/2 years off from Football, he can still play, let alone learn a new system.

You really think he's looking better than Evans? Nah

NFL teams dont. That's why they throw their best CB against Evans and double him.

As I said last year, Evans is talented the problem is that he gets the best coverage and when Brady sees good coverage he doesn't force the ball there unlike Jameis.

I sold him for an early 2023 2 for team 2 a month or so ago. Was pretty happy then. Little sellers remorse last night.

Shouldnt just throw Sell Sell Sell out there without some context. Yes if you are a rebuilder or even not a true competitor then Sell Sell Sell for anything you can get, but if your team is a competitor than AB is the definition of a guy you want to hold onto even if he dies on your roster. Especially since at most you paid a second for him. On a team like mine im not going to sell AB, itd be stupid and could cost me a title. Also isnt it within the realm of possibilities AB gives us one more show before he goes? We are talking about possibly the greatest fantasy WR ever here, Brady has always loved this guy. Ya Evans and Godwin are supreme talents as well but its certainly within the realm of possibilities that Brown finishes between wr 12-18

Evans is going to have some good weeks. Godwin is going to have some good weeks. Brown is going to have some good weeks.

It really just depends on what the defense gives them. Dallas only good corner was on Evans most of the night.

One thing is for sure: This offense will put up points. A lot of them. They could end up with three 1000 yard receivers, but it will be frustrating fantasy wise.

This. TBH Gronk's usage and numbers surprised me more than ABs
