Michael Irvin said something interesting about the spin being the oppsite direction on the ball from a right handed and left handed passer. Not sure it excuses the drop but definitely an interesting thought.

And to the point of the thread, I'm still not selling Brown at any discount. I have lowered my expectations of his production but not his overall value. Vick is not very good but Big Ben wasn't on crutches which has to be a good sign for his recovery.
They were saying they reversed the jugs machines so Brown could practice catching the rotation from a left-handed delivery...mastering the craft. If anyone gets cold feet with Brown in my leagues I will be buying

I don't know why any Brown owners would get cold feet.. Big Ben is literally back in likely 6 weeks at worst.

I also think he will only improve from this game. You gotta think, Ben got hurt on Sunday. Vick and the entire offense as a whole had a short week to adjust. Their next game should be a lot better than this one (still no Big Ben, but substantially better).

After today's performance i believe he's the dynasty WR #1. Doesn't seem like we talk about him enough.

If Brown was 6'3, he would have been considered the #1 WR 2 years ago. He's small, so people have been reluctant to put him at the top. I think those days are coming to an end though. He's unstoppable and I don't think it can be denied anymore

Agree with this. People like WRs with size. I know I do. But you can't ignore what AB has done the last three seasons. If Big Ben hadn't missed four & a half games, AB could be looking at 2000 yards.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Antonio Brown is the Best WR in Football with Big Ben on the Field. He is absolutely Match Up Proof, just look what he did to Denver last night. I wish I could get him, but the GM that has him will not let him go after these last few games. I know OBJ is flashy and makes great catches, but in my opinion, there isn't a more dependable, skilled WR than Antonio Brown.

Reactionary Dynasty rankings..... weekly update.

#1. A.Brown - As long as Big Ben is healthy, if not paired with Ben, he slides down to 6, bumping every one else up.
#2. Julio - guy is the best big wr in the game right now.

#3. OBJ - he is sliding for me as I find myself disliking him more and more each week. Talent is there, he is special, but... man, he is a diva like we haven't seen in quite some time.
#4,5,6.7. Dez, AJG, DT, Hopkins all in the 4-7 range / pick your pref.

You can still argue that AB is/isn't the dynasty WR1 because of age but you cannot deny that he is the best WR in football right now. Agree that a full season with Big Ben and he might have been flirting with the receiving record.

I think the number 1 WR in dynasty is the guy who will put up a huge game next week!

Thread last week was simply stating he was the 2015 wr1.... Which exceeded my expectations and was worth pointing out as even the biggest fanboys I can't imagine thought that would happen.(atleast I didn't)

This I believe is talking about from a dynasty perspective. For a win now team I think Julio and brown both deserve to be above beckham. If rebuilding, I'll take obj #1 overall.

So instead of ridicule, why don't you list your top guys? Rankings change. Brown deserves to be the top guy and it's not an overreaction to put him in that spot

It's Brown for me and has been for 2 years. He's incredible. I think the top tier includes four of them - Brown Julio OBJ Dez. Not a lot separate them for me. Brown/Julio /Dez (in that order) for the contender, OBJ for the rebuilder just b/c he's younger and hot on their heels in terms of production.

Bought Brown this year for Eifert, Diggs, 2 firsts. (1.09 and either 1.04 or 1.05, can't recall). He carried me to a W last night; feeling pretty good about the finals. So happy about that one.
