I like Jerry Jeudy a little more right now, but I agree that 2020 looks like a better potential class than 2019.

‘20 class makes ‘19 look like a jv team. D’Andre Swift is my 1.01.

He is putting together an incredible season so far, and definitely looks to be pretty talented. His production has been getting inflated thanks to some simplistic stuff that is not really feasible come time to play in the pros, however. In the game vs CSU, for example, he got most of his targets by just getting little dumpoffs in the flat.

You wanna talk about a WR who's doing incredible things? Hollywood is my pick. He looks fantastic, and if he continues his friendship with AB (they trained together for a bit this past summer), he'll be a superstar.

Way too early. There are some really good players coming out in 2019, but depth may not be there, but look at the mess this years draft is already causing, and we think we can predict 2 years out? He looks good, but trying to forecast a 1.01 2 years away as complete amateur scouts is kind of difficult. All I can say is, I hope he and more talents continue to go upwards and make the game better, but it's really tough to predict.

Marqise Lee was once ranked as a potential 1.1. So was Chubb, Yeldon, etc. Way too early

Well, we're about 5 games in. So, approaching the halfway point of the college season for the class to look like this isn't very encouraging. I have Marquise Brown as my 1.01 right now, but he's no lock by any means.

You're right though that a lot can change, but right now it's pretty bad. If I bought a ton of 2019 picks I'd be considering a Plan B.

I know Shenault been playing well for Colorado, but havent seen much tape. Jeudy playing good as well. My favorite WR so far that ive watched is Tee Higgins. No doubt 2020 is a stout class both RB, WR, from what i heard a better QB class than 2019. All i know is I’m trying to stockpile those picks

That's what I'm getting at. I think the picks in the later part of the first are the most vulnerable here. There's not a clear cut gem in this class and there's no depth either. If you own a ton of picks, you're hoping that traditional rookie fever helps, but I'd definitely be looking to see if I can get younger players than can help now (and breakout later) depending on the situation.

I mean Brown looks good for Oklahoma, but no way he’s 1.01. I think depending on draft status he’ll be lucky to be a 2nd round rookie pick because of how thin his frame is. I think rookie picks 1.1-1.6 are going to be solid picks

I am really trying to stockpile my 2024 picks. Have you seen the 8th grade classes/tapes from Texas, Cali, and Florida? I like 2020 at this point too, but guys like Akers are being outplayed in their own backfield, so you never know what will happen. Montgomery, Anderson, Harris, and Love were 4 stud rb prospects for next year, just a few short months ago. Now, they are a big reason people are looking for guys that wont contribute for 2-3 years at the least. That is a long time, depending on the investment in those picks. Dont get me wrong, if the theory that you should trade a 2019 2nd for a 2020 first actually worked out in all of my leagues, i would probably do it. Problem is, i have yet to see that play out once. So there is risk of waiting and looking to far into the future. Guess it depends on your depth, rebuilding, etc.

I did watch a little of the Buffs game and Shenault did look good. So if you are a Colorado fan, you have much to be optimistic about.
