I am surprised people have not figured out the main solution to increasing his value.

A name change.

Simply going from Penny to Nickel would increase his value 5fold!

Then Seattle needs to trade him to Buffalo.

Ya, it’s killing me. I have Cook, Gordon, Guice, Penny & Damien Harris in a 16 team IDP league. I guess at least Harris isn’t inactive for a change, but its hard to get much more depth in a 16 team league given our roster sizes.

It sucks to invest in a player and they don't do everyrhing in their power to be at their peak. Just squander away a golden opportunity to make millions. I still think Penny gives this offense a big play threat, but I am a bit nervous that he just doesn't have the drive to hone his craft. If a dude doesn't have the drive to be the best, then they might as well be a ghost on their team

He hired a nutritionist in the off season. He's at the weight the team wants him at. He's improved his pass blocking, but the team still prefers to use Carson.
