Re: Jordan Matthews to Eagles
I'm putting a waiver bid in for him but I'm not going more than 10% of my budget. He's still a project even for the WR needy eagles. They will get Jeffrey back in the near future so I don't see him being more than a flex option at best this season. He was already dumped once by the Eagles, they could probably dump him again if he doesn't pan out these first couple of weeks.
Re: Jordan Matthews to Eagles
I picked him up off waivers in my deeper league just to see what happens. Martavis Bryant is on waivers as well which is tempting but I went with Matthews just to how things go in Philly.

Re: Jordan Matthews to Eagles
I had a funny series of transactions to still be rostering JMatt right now.
Give: '19 3rd
Get: '19 2nd x2
- Sold JMatt & '19 3rd for Gio & '19 2nd when JMatt signed with Pats.
- JMatt cut by Pats, owner drops him to waivers to pick up Dorsett
- I added JMatt back off waivers with a hope and a prayer
- Sold Gio for a '19 2nd
Give: '19 3rd
Get: '19 2nd x2

Re: Jordan Matthews to Eagles
Copied and pasted from another thread...
Let me preface this by saying that my expectations are low and my primary concern is just JMatt sticking on a roster and having the opportunity to get on the field and show other teams he still can play, period.
That said, JMatt not only has an opportunity to play real snaps in Philly, but it's a great offense and JMatt was Wentz's most highly targeted receiver in his rookie season before JMatt was traded. Wentz and JMatt have familiarity with each other. This is basically as good as it gets for anybody with the slimmest hope for JMatt rehabilitating his career
Don't go out and acquire him, but if you held him and are an OG truther, you can smile today.

Re: Jordan Matthews to Eagles
Pretty sure Agholor has been pushed outside out of necessity and I would think it would stay that way until Alshon returns. Even then, may still see Alshon and Agholor outside with Matthews in the slot.

In my 30 man roster, I grabbed him when Dixon went on IR. Saw this thread on twitter that makes me pretty excited. The premise is if you believe in Watkins, Gordon, etc you should believe in Matthews. https://twitter.com/_NickWhalen/status/ ... 2012146688

Re: Jordan Matthews to Eagles
My interpretation is he thinks we shouldn't believe in any of these guys because their most productive years were behind them.gausec wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 2:48 pm In my 30 man roster, I grabbed him when Dixon went on IR. Matthews has been slowed by situation and injuries. He couldn't be in a better position than the Eagles offense minus Alshon, Hollins, Wallace. He already has a rapport with the QB and may receive targets right away

Re: Jordan Matthews to Eagles
Jordan Matthews was active and productive today.
If you needed him in a deep league or best ball league you'll likely be pleased with his 56 yards & TD.
