Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
scratch Lee off the list. Looks like he suffered a pretty bad knee injury in this evening's game. Hope it turns out to not be as bad as it looked. yikes.
How much does this boost Westbrook and Cole? I'm thinking pretty significantly, even if they do bring in Dez. They wouldn't do that would they...

Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
Biggest boost to Westbrook I think. I think Cole had a starter role pretty locked in even before this. The lack of threat opposite him might hurt more than help. Also a boost to Moncrief because he might get some significant snaps now.pvillebiker wrote: ↑Sat Aug 25, 2018 5:30 pm scratch Lee off the list. Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
This sucks for Lee but I also think this will help Cole and Westbrook. I like Cole the best out of the bunch.
Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
On upside:
Chark
Westbrook
Moncrief
Cole
22-man, 12-team, 1 pt-PPR; Start 1-2RB; 3-4 WR; 1-2 TE
TEAM 1
QB: Prescott, Foles
RB: Barkley, P Barber, Duke, Gio Bernard, Gus, C Thompson, Breida, Ekeler
WR: A Cooper, Cooks, Lockett, C. Davis, Crowder, Chark, Stills
TE: OJ Howard

Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
On one hand I like this idea for the offense but I just don't see a contender rocking the boat with a headache like Bryant...and from the last we saw of him is he really the Dez of old?pvillebiker wrote: ↑Sat Aug 25, 2018 5:30 pm scratch Lee off the list. Lee
Moncrief
Cole
Westbrook
Chark

Lee
Cole
Westbrook

Don't sleep on Deandre Smelter. This is the year he stays healthy and puts it all together.

He's not a WR, but Austin Seferian-Jenkins is a darkhorse to lead the team in targets and touchdowns receptions.
Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
For the Jags sake I sure hope not. He is about as overrated as they come and in a system that doesn't even feature the TE in passing situations.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 10:21 am He's not a WR, but Austin Seferian-Jenkins is a darkhorse to lead the team in targets and touchdowns receptions.

Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
ASJ is a bone head, and does nothing to interest me. I'd pull for Niles Paul to have as many or more receptions as ASJ. And this is straight up, not taking into account ASJ could be hurt...again or do something stupid. He is due.
I only play in 16x53 with 10+ taxi size leagues with full IDP. All are PPR and most value return yardage. So my opinions may be skewed To these deep roster leagues.

Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
He was solid for the Jets last season, but they didn't really get him downfield as much as they did in the short area game. He's reportedly been tearing it up in the offseason for Jacksonville. Right now, he's by far their best redzone guy.Ice wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 11:03 amFor the Jags sake I sure hope not. Re: Jags WR's- Rank em!
I don't have the numbers from preseason week 3, but through the first 2 pre-season games (vs MIN and ATL) the jaguars ran 53 plays with the first team offense. First-string WR snaps on these plays were:
Keelan Cole (42 of 53) 79%
Donte Moncrief (31 of 53) 58%
Dede Westbrook (26 of 53) 49%
DJ Chark (14 of 53) 26%
