Did anyone in these 9 pages mention the rumors about Corey Coleman's nightlife? Benjamin Albright reported/suggested Coleman spending $8-15k at the strip club and socializing with prostitutes were not uncommon occurrences.

What is your point? Did you see what Tiger’s routine was while he was ripping all his peers hearts out? This isn’t out of the norm for young athletes.

My point is it's easier to understand why Cleveland would take a 7th for him.
If he handles his business at work I don't care what he does on his own time. Albright reportedt hese things as facts, though I position them as a rumor, and felt fair to pass it on as such.
It's easy to overlook organizational culture, politics, and dynamics when looking in from the outside. Clearly they felt Coleman was a bad fit with other personalities on the team.

The point is the guy is not focused/dedicated to improving his craft. He has not progessed since entering the league....

Sounds like what most young athletes with millions of dollars do. I don't see it as a distraction unless he was skipping practice time to do it or something.

I would blame the lack of progress on coaching, two broken hands, and poor qb play before making assumptions that his after hour affairs are what’s holding him back.

Love your contributions to the forum, and this thread was an interesting read. I was surprised that the Browns decided to cut bait when they did with Coleman, but perhaps they felt the effort wasn't there, or he'd just worn out his welcome? Sometimes (but not always) a move like this can wake a player up a bit.

If they don't work hard, learn the playbook, and improve their skills as a pro their tenure in the league is likely to be short lived regardless of position. Coleman needs to realize he's on thin ice at this point and get it together if that's a possible outcome for him.

As for Kelce though, it was a microfracture surgery (non-weight bearing on the side of his knee) that cost him his rookie season. As we've seen all indications are that it was largely successful and hasn't had a negative impact. Was definitely something that didn't get caught at the combine medicals.

Just had to clarify.
14 Team, No-PPR, 20 Man Roster, TD Heavy, TD = 6, FG = 3, Start: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, K, D

14 Team, .5 PPR, 18 Man Roster, Rush/Rec TD = 6, Pass TD = 4, FG = 3, Start: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, K, D

Regardless of whatever reason or excuse one sides with: The simple reality is he sucks so bad he is worth only a flyer 7th round pick 2 years out after being a first round pick. That's what happens to WR's that can't catch.

Yeah, everything except the actual player, you must have him on your team.... Then you clearly have not followed his career since entering the league. Broken hands do not keep a player from working on learning his route tree as well as the playbook. It has been a constant from virtually all accounts that the guy does not work on improving his craft.....

Hue is not a head coach. He might be a good coach but is not a "head coach". I don't see anyway Hue is with Cleveland next year. Not to get off track. I don't know how to feel about Coleman. The Browns traded him for a 2020 conditional 7th??? The Bills bought him for a conditional 7th. It tells you a lot about what both teams feel about Coleman. He was not thought of well in Cleveland. I mean at that price they could have done him justice and just cut him. I guess you keep him out of the division by trading him but is this really a concern because the Bills have nothing invested in Coleman and can cut him later in camp and he can still end up in your division. The Bills paid some lint in Beane's pocket and a stick of Juicy Fruit for Coleman how can anyone feel good about that. Coleman better wake the fudge up or he could find his way out of the NFL. If I was him this would shake me to the core hope it does for his sake.

I think the reason they didn't just cut him has to do with salary, I think the rookie contracts are guaranteed and Cleveland would still have to pay him.
