What do you guys think of Mike Wallace

Postby joeya2001 » Sat Aug 04, 2018 7:26 am

guy has been a steady guy for FF, kinda reminds me of Steve Smith in his later years.

Think he's worthy of consistent flex production?

Steady for FF? You mean as a bye-week fill-in?

Averages around 60-70 catches for 800-900 yards for his career.

But he's 32 now, which is the death age for WRs.

I forgot he was even still in the league.

I picked him up as insurance against injury to my other players and potentially as a bye week fill in although if im starting him something went wrong. I do like that hes with a good offense and I do like that Jeffries is banged up and his week 1 status is in doubt. I think if something happens to Jeffries or one of the other receivers Wallace may be able to sustain decent flex numbers all year in that offense.

Agreed. Most likely I won't use him, but having Jeffery I like Wallace's chances to produce IF Jeffery is out but only as a flex/bye week starter. 1.5 months ago I sent Decker and a future 4th for Wallace. I think he'll put up better numbers in Philly than Torrey Smith did which isn't saying a whole lot, but he'll produce, just a question of when.

He might be ok in best ball leagues or 16 team leagues but other than that, it would be hard to start him, imo. He will have some good games though, I just don’t see how you could start him unless it’s a deep league or best ball where he could give you a few good weeks.

Rather take a chance on Hollins for the next couple years than Wallace at his current age.

Either way, they're both big-time dart throws this year.

^^ if you like to compete do the opposite of this ^^
MW is getting long in the tooth but this year will have him with the best qb he has had since he left pittsburgh ,I think he is a terrific cheap add for a contender and a best ball flyer I would be looking to add

Agreed. Had both Wallace and Hollins and traded Mack on draft day to take J'Mon Moore. Just have a feeling Wallace is in for one of those twilight career type years, especially if Alshon is banged up.
