I’d imagine there are guys on the waiver wire (maybe even qbs) that I would rather stash

I personally wouldn’t but I think Taysom hill has a decent shot since he’s beat out almost everyone they’ve had for that backup job apparently

I actually like Barrett and have drafted him in a couple leagues already, but with 25 man rosters I'd probably pass. Maybe if you had a spot open on the taxi squad for him though.

JT is a good kid and I have seen a ton of him up close and personal. He has some serious production to back him up BUT after his broken ankle and knee issues, he just has not been the same player. He has moments now and then see the Penn State game last season overall though he does not have the strongest arm and that was okay when he could use his legs now not so much. He is smart and will work so I see him being a career backup capable of giving you some games now and then if the need arises. He is not Drew Bree's replacement.

Maybe in a 16-team, 30-man roster league. Definitely not in a 12-team, 25-man roster league.

I would not go knocking yourself on this. You believed in him and got him cheap so why not wait and see until you see someone else you like more. He's smart and has talent there is a place in the NFL for him. Just as Bree's replacement. I don't see it.

Probably just another Troy Smith, especially after injury. I am too lazy to Google what accomplishments Troy had after college, but assume they were not spectacular. I actually had some hope for Braxton in his conversion, but looks like that ship has pretty much sailed too.

If there's a taxi spot you're trying to fill, why not?

Until New Orleans drafts a QB with decent capital...you'd have to imagine it's an open competition...Taysom Hill would be a nice story but he'll be 29 years old next year and hasn't been anything more than a 3rd string QB up until this point.
