Yeah - unfortunately not much

I would love to move him for a late 2nd though but very unlikely - even to the Gordon owner

I own Gordon in two leagues and I wouldn't give a 2nd for him. A 3rd maybe.

I would not pay hardly anything for him. If Gordon goes down, I highly doubt Ekeler gets more than 12-13 touches.

I keep hearing the Chargers want to spell Gordon on early downs. I'm scratching my head because I thought he was the thunder and Ekeler/Jackson would be the lightning.

I think the Justin Jackson pick is a legit threat to Ekeler, and there may be a bit of shuffling in their depth chart.

Think that Jackson is a threat to Ekelers role if Gordon were to go down. I wouldnt pay more than a mid 3rd for Ekeler.

A late 4th, if that.. 0 reason at all to own him unless you own Gordon & really believe in handcuffing.

I like him, but he's just a handcuff, and not even a confident long-term handcuff. He's worth at most a 4th to the Gordon owner. And I agree with some others that Justin Jackson is a legitimate threat to Ekeler's #2 spot on the depth-chart, so even a 4th or 5th for Ekeler is a gamble.

Probably worth a 4th round pick depending on how the league is formatted.

I really do like Ekeler though. They should split him out wide more since that's the way the NFL is going. Have him use his agility underneath, or speed over the top to stretch the field.

I'd buy for a 3rd. I like what the guy's shown enough to own, but not for a 2nd.

Thanks guys. I offered a trade for a 3rd and would be willing to move him for a 4th. I appreciate all the advice.

In the same boat ... But going to wait until on the clock and know what player I can get in his place. Gordon has been dinged up in the past carried a heavy load the past couple of seasons.

Might just keep Hannibal Ekeler if we don't need the roster spot for a young flier type.

I think Ekeler had an underappreciated rookie year...lots of reasons for it

He wasnt perfect - He made a rookie mistake in one of his games...a costly fumble
He was behind Gordon and had limited opportunites, and Gordon isnt going anywhere
He isnt a prototypical size.

However, neither is Justin Jackson. I like Justin Jackson, but not sure why he's being annointed as the backup to own?

Ekeler beats him in every category, except the college competition they faced..and at this point, Ekeler has averaged 5.3 yards per run and 10 yards per catch against NFL opponents, so that point is moot.

Ekeler is from a small school, but as we know, thats not the end of it..what did he do in the small school? He dominated. As a future NFL rb should. Great dominator rating and great YPC average. He is compact, gritty (watch a few of his touchdowns) and has nice measureables, really.

I think Ekeler is a hold for anything less than a third..and frankly, if you're going to draft a rb int he 2nd this year. I prefer Ekeler to ALL of the available options. I'd move Ekeler for a second only if I needed QB/WR/or TE
