Seems light. I'd want closer to the 1.5 for Ridley
Ridley is a WR2 as a ceiling for his prime. I understand wanting that, but I'd want better than that in this class. RB1 and WR1 is definitely a better in the range of outcomes more than getting Calvin Ridley is with Julio still locked in there, with an aging Matt Ryan. Calvin Ridley in Chicago is Anthony Miller. I don't see the required ceiling for an early/mid first in this class for him. The top 3 RB's and the top 2 WR's in this class I'd take easily over Ridley. I think that trade may be light, but Tyrell was killing it before he hurt his foot. He's got WR2 upside next year easily. He scored a TD in his first 5 games, got hurt, wasn't the same. Ridley is such a replaceable WR. I'd want bigger bang for my buck at 1.05. Ridley is safe, but I think he's almost peaked. I just don't see Matt Ryan getting better into his mid to late 30's, he never had a great arm, and he's as mobile as my dead grandfather. He's more prone to going Rivers and Eli right now than I think people realize.

A lot of people sleeping on Ridley. His ceiling is high enough that you should be buying if people are selling for late 1sts.

I really like that so many people are sleeping on Ridley. I should want hype to maximize his trade value, but for whatever reason, I'm fine without it.

I agree, Ridley is a really good receiver. I may be looking to buy this offseason.

I could see doing this if you think Ridley's upside is a lot higher than most. I still think he's a very good WR2, who will give you some WR1 weeks when defenses are keying in on Julio.

But, I lean towards 1.7 and Brown in that deal.

Same. Pretty fair right now, but I prefer the pick and Brown. Brown actually outscored Ridley, so he's not a slouch.

I’ve been offered Keenan straight up for Ridley. Is that a deal you’d make?

That's a tough one. The Chargers QB situation is pretty up in the air right now. Allen has been a PPR star for a few years, but he'll be 28, so you're losing a few years on him vs Ridley. The Falcons QB situation is a bit more stable right now. Really depends on team makeup, I suppose. If you think Keenan can produce with a rookie QB, it's worth doing, I suppose. They could always grab a FA QB, too. It's a tough call without knowing who is throwing the ball.

I would take Keenan for Ridley in a millisecond.

Allen is what you dream of Ridley becoming. Sure, there's QB concerns, but the talent is just too overwhelmingly good to not accept.
