Re: Favorite 2018 Rookie lottery tickets
While the Wright signing makes him an even longer shot, I will take a flyer on Brandon Zylstra in the last round.
Re: Favorite 2018 Rookie lottery tickets
Prospect with legit draft capital
RB Chase Edmonds - love what I saw on tape from him. Works great between the tackles and has great speed. He is a versatile back who could also function as a pass catcher.
Lottery Tickets
RB Trenton Cannon, Virginia St - freakish speed, can pass catch and has potential to contribute on special teams. Could be the best non FBS rb prospect, though he runs a bit too upright at times.
RB Bubba Jenkins, Morningside - smart north south runner who lives in the gym and has a patient running style. Ran a 4.5 at his pro day, but should receive looks.
RB Detrez Newsome, Western Carolina - he ran a 4.51 at his pro day, which was better than expected. He makes guys miss with great proficiency and posted big time numbers against top FBS competition.
WR Brandon Shed, Hobart - he is a solid route runner with adequate size (6'2) and speed (4.59). Look for him to catch onto a roster.
WR Deontez Alexander, Franklin College - the second D3 WR prospect mentioned from this class. The guy ran a 4.3 and has great height at 6'3. Looks like a Robby Anderson clone.
WR Josh Crockett, Central Oklahoma - the MVP of the Dream Bowl is a legit athlete with a 41' vert and decent game speed.

Re: Favorite 2018 Rookie lottery tickets
No one seeing Bo Scarbough as a lottery ticket? He ran faster than expected at the combine and is huge (er, tall). Latavius Murray has similar physical features and had a pretty good year after Cook went down splitting touches in odd bunches with McKinnon

I know it's not always a smooth transition (if ever) but he was a boss in the CFL last season.Syd12356 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 08, 2018 5:44 pmPlayed college ball with him (I was a scout team corner at the time) so I certainly think highly of himdrbuttermaker wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 10:16 pm While the Wright signing makes him an even longer shot, I will take a flyer on Brandon Zylstra in the last round.

Now I feel like I have to draft him (I have to own him). Thought he would go undrafted, but now he's been mentioned on the board.Dookmariot wrote: ↑Mon Apr 09, 2018 2:24 pmI know it's not always a smooth transition (if ever) but he was a boss in the CFL last season.Syd12356 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 08, 2018 5:44 pmPlayed college ball with him (I was a scout team corner at the time) so I certainly think highly of himdrbuttermaker wrote: ↑Fri Mar 30, 2018 10:16 pm While the Wright signing makes him an even longer shot, I will take a flyer on Brandon Zylstra in the last round.

Re: Favorite 2018 Rookie lottery tickets
a couple late round QB's I was looking at yesterday are
Nic Simonek (Then I saw him on bleacher report today, so he may be on people's radar now)
Chase Litton
I've watched a little tape on them, but not much. Tomorrow is my day off so I'll be doing that then.
I'm also higher on JT Barrett than most (if not everyone) and think he could be a solid starter in a couple years.

I'm calling my shot right now. Richie James will be good. Some NFL team will get him in the 5th, 6th or 7th round and make out like bandits.
