Who Are Your Off-Season Trade Targets

Postby killionb » Sat Mar 24, 2018 11:27 am

Just wanted to see who others valued as trade targets this off-season, especially now with free agency being mostly over.

So feel free to post which players you would want to acquire via trade this off season.

Cooks, great player and im very high on him

Kamara, wanna get him before he is unavailable

2020 first round picks, 3 stud RBs for this past freshman class, they will only get better and only more will come up. I'm pretty stacked at WR and I could use the help at RB, might as well get the picks before it's labelled best in decades

I hold the 1.08, 2.03 and 3.01 in the upcoming rookie draft. I just won the championship and my roster isn't exciting or filled with blue chip dynasty players but it's been the most consistently productive team in the league the past three seasons since we started, finishing 3rd, 2nd then 1st each year. I'm looking for young RB help as McCoy is getting older and there are a ton of question marks with Foreman.

All that said, I'm looking to package picks and a player to move up and grab Barkley, Guice or Chubb at the top. If I can't do that I want to grab a middle aged (24-27) WR. If I can't do that I'm going to trade out of the 1.08 to a '19 1st plus hopefully an '18 2nd and compile picks in '19 to try and nab N'Keal Harry

Don't do it. So much unreached, and IMHO unreachable, upside is already being built into his price. He isn't the next Bell (or insert popular 3 down back) but he's already being priced near that. I don't think he's going to get much better than what we saw in '17. Regression is coming. He was way too efficient with his touches.

Robinson, Tyreek Hill and one of Njoku/OjHoward/ Engram.
Robinson - have had a lot of problems with his current owner. Not likely to acquire.
Hill - paid a premium but I landed him. Im a believer
Engram - very expensive
Oj Howard - owner offered Howard and his 3rd for Keenan Allen or Diggs. We'll end talks right there.
Njoku - you could say I literally stole him from a panicking owner. Gave Zay Jones (before meltdown).

Heres a different spin. Off season targets... to trade away: Zay Jones (see above) and OBJ (received Keenan Allen + 1.02). Ive tried trading Josh Gordon but looks like hes stuck on my roster. Wont complain, got him for a $1 waiver pick up.

What makes OBJ a sell? He's done nothing but pile up fantasy points since he entered the league.

That's pretty solid value for OBJ. OBJ is a better player than Keenan talent wise but in terms of fantasy production, which is based on situation, QB, targets, etc, i consider keenan to be his equal if only slightly worse. The 1.02 more than makes up for it.

Personally, I traded OBJ this offseason for what amounted to Keenan, Mixon and AJ Green. Couldn't be happier.

2nd year Tight Ends. They take longer to develop and some owners get impatient unless they see immediate results (not Engram though, I'd be selling if I had him).

I dont like his antics at all. I find his attitude on and off the field incredibly annoying. If it was a one isolated thing I wouldnt care. Every one makes mistakes. But his knucklehead factor is high in my book.

Keenan Cole and Jack Doyle seem like good buys to me with their values potentially depressed.

I bough a copy of Cole for Abdullah

I wasn't questioning the value. I just don't see the sense in labeling someone a target to offload for what amounts to minor character concerns. His antics make him seem emotional and flamboyant, but not a criminal or even a locker room distraction.

As far as the topic, I think Tarik Cohen is a great target this off-season. He's shown that with improved usage he can make big plays anywhere on the field. This revamped offense looks like it has the potential to churn out yards, and I think Cohen could be the PPR RB2 that owners were hoping for after his first few games last season.

DT is a guy who I've picked up a few places. I did so before they found their QB (who I was hoping would be Cousins for my DT shares' perceived value). That said, even with the QB play he's had the last few years, he's put up points, which I think he can continue to do for a few years.

Another early free agency target was McKinnon, but I already had him almost everywhere. There are enough threads on him already..

The Lewis/Henry (either or both) backfield pair both could be solid grabs depending on how owners think about the other RB hurts their value. Depending on the price, I think both could put up solid numbers.
