I'm not saying you're wrong, but he is very young for CTE to be so advanced, is he not? Especially considering you are referencing a few years even further back, and he hasn't really taken many hits to the head since entering the league, he hasn't played. It is possible he's just an immature person with a lack self control. I agree he's most likely done in the league.
Head injuries don’t occur in pop warner? High school? College?

A guy I played with in high school I’m pretty sure has long standing head trauma from how he played in high school
No, I was just saying it might not be as likely, or the main cause for his DV. There is a possibility he's just immature, can't deal with his anger, and isn't of particularly high moral standard.
I agree with this

Trade offer of 2022 3rd for Guice rejected. 14 team 2RB league, so RBs have strong values.
League #1- 14 tm ppr, 1Q, 2R, 3W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1K
1 DT, 2 DE, 2 LB, 1 CB, 1 S, 1 flex

League #2- 12 team PPR, 1Q, 1R, 2W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1 W/R/T, 1 Def

League #3- 12 tm PPR, 1Q, 0R (yes, ZERO RB) 3W, 1T, 2 R/W/T flex, 1 Def

Nah, we all forget plenty of years are loaded with busts in or around the top half of the first round of rookie drafts.

This year is eerily like 2018 with a bunch of early 1st-round backs and good WRs getting pushed down. (Brace yourselves!)

2018's 1st round RBs, today? It's Barkley and Chubb and everyone else (Guice, Jones, Freeman, Johnson, Penny, Michel) is now, just 2 years later, a collossal bust, despite all the "loaded RB talent."

Like others have said though, it's too bad it's been mostly been about injury and off-the-field issues destroying Guice's career. For the 2 minutes he was on the field, he often looked pretty good. The dream is over.

While I do believe that CTE is a cause for some actions of players and has major effects on them I think we need to be careful that whenever a player does a terrible thing to not just chalk it up to CTE and in a small sense make an excuse for their actions(I'm not saying that anyone isn't acknowledging what they did was wrong). Some of these players are just immature and in some cases terrible people.

You're getting 2018 vibes? After some RB prospects jumped in ADP after they got drafted in the 1st round and were consequently over drafted? The depth in this class feels a lot closer to 2017

Yeah, thought of '17 too - though the earliest receivers in '17 are busts, which is frightening (Davis, Williams, Ross). Juju should bounce back, but who really knows. Gems later on with Godwin, Kupp, Golladay.

'17 at RB had gems at both ends of rookie drafts, and that's where I think '20 will be different. It dries up pretty fast (though sounds like we might disagree there), but we'll have to wait and see - and not for long when it comes to RB.

I’d have taken the 3rd, hard to see a path where he becomes relevant

A 2022 3rd is too far out, but I'd argue that a 2021 3rd and Guice are about the same at this point.

Guice hasn't done anything and his path to doing something has now become incredibly clouded.

This is well said ^^.

And Tre Mason. Most people don't remember that story even though it only happened a few years ago. You can Google that. He was just a young kid but head injuries ruined it for him. He got help but he had to quit football.

CTE doesn't have an age limit.
Titus Young was the first guy that came to my mind.

FAAB. He hurt his knee again, won't be playing this year, and will most likely get suspended next year. He's done IMO. Besides, I wouldn't want to roster this guy at this point. Feels dirty. The charges are really bad, and it's 3 separate incidents, one involving strangulation. I wouldn't pick him up for free, TBH. He's a roster clogger at this point, and I'll take a roster clogger that doesn't beat women, if I have the choice. That's how I view him at this point. Not worth going out of my way to roster a guy who has the tiniest percentage of chance to give me a small increase in value at some point, considering the situation surrounding his release. I mean, if you want to believe he didn't do it, and that all charges will be dropped, and the NFL will pick him up again, then he may get another chance as a committee back, but he hasn't proven he can stay healthy at all, with this later injury only adding evidence to that. I just wouldn't go out of my way to spend in a year where FAAB may hold more value in season due to COVID problems.
