2QB Love

Postby WhiskeyD32 » Tue Dec 05, 2017 7:53 pm

I just completed my first 2qb season and I loved it. I don’t think I can play any other way now. Not even superflex can compare in my opinion. What does this community think? I know there’s 2qb rankings here, but Where’s the best place for 2qb talk and mock drafts? It’s a totally different animal.

I love superflex

Don't see myself bothering with 2QB but I hate roster limitations my favorite league format is superflex and start 1 of each with the rest being flex spots.

I try to keep all of my leagues different. A 10 team 2 QB league isn't a totally different animal from a 20 team 1 QB league. It is true that it requires a different kind of advice though, but I don't know that a separate section would be beneficial. I never bother to check the salary cap forum, for example.

prefer superflex with slightly scaled back qb scoring so that you have the ultimate roster structure flexibility.

2 qb you will always have weak teams that get screwed by lack of depth and then you will have teams that were great and then died due to injury to a qb that cant be replaced. in 1 qb/sf i can swap my rodgers or watson for keenum or dalton and survive
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp

I only play Superflex. I fail to see the appeal of a structure that makes the most valuable position in sports a near afterthought and focuses almost exclusively on WR and RB. If you go larger leagues (16 teams) then I could maybe get on board with 1QB, but anything less I won’t waste my time.

I’m not into 2QB (must start two) unless it would would be 10 teams (not my cup of tea size) because bye weeks are so impactful. Unfortunate flaw in my opinion if you go larger since not every team can have 3 starters rostered. Superflex provides the benefit and flexibility.

I agree with the love of Superflex over 2QB. Moving to 16 team Superflex leagues has been the best thing since starting fantasy football 20 years ago. 2QB limits your league size and roster flexibility which for me reduces the excitement of the league.

I like all the different perspectives here. Personally I’ve preferred the struggle of getting qbs and the trade action it drives. But to be fair, the guy who finished second last year was starting Moore and siemian. 😂

I really enjoy the challenge of my 16 team start 2QB league. Pretty much puts huge value on all starting QBs, and even backups and prospects.

One wish. That there was more 2QB content out there. 2QBs.com is descent, but it seems like their rankings are often broken.
