I think most owners would want a Mid 1st for him now. I wouldnt pay that if I didnt already have him though

I would hesitate to give an early first considering his past history. I will say if he keeps his head on straight he could be a huge asset to any team.

I think a mid to late 1st is pretty fair value. He'll never be worth elite prices in his career now with the risk of another suspension. He'll be one of those guys who is worth more to your team with his production than what you could get for him in the market. As an owner, I'll be looking to cash out for a safer asset once trading opens up again in my league. Most likely though, I'm probably just holding on and hoping for WR2 numbers going forward. Can't complain after picking him up for a little bit of FAAB money.

I'll admit, there's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't command at least what Jordan Reed is worth. Both have huge upside when on the field and playing full snaps, but both could be out of the league in 8 months.

Reed is less likely to be out of the league any given week, whereas Gordon will literally be out of the NFL the next time he pees dirty. But at least with a drug risk, you don't have the weekly worry of "how close to 100% (or even 80%) is he??", like you do with Reed.

Mid-late First is fair for sellers, and I would pay an early-mid 2nd for him.

I voted late 1st for me to move him. A 2nd really doesnt do anything for me, and I know no one in my league would pay a 1st. So I'm rooting for him.

No one is selling for a 2nd. Most won't pay a 1st. So basically the same holding pattern for the past year or three.

As tiring as this topic is, I think the answer is that Josh Gordon is worth more to the owner who's held him through his suspension or added him off the wire before he came back than he is to anyone else in your league.

Those owners are going to want first-round value for him based on talent/upside. Understandable.

Their league mates won't pay that price 90% of the time due to "risk". Understandable.

He's the most polarizing player in the NFL for dynasty purposes, and an extremely volatile asset. If he's on your roster, might as well see what happens unless you're in a league with one of the 10% who will meet a 1st-round asking price. Then it's up to you if it's time to cash-out or let it ride.
