2018 Rookie Draft Pick 1.1

Traded for a pick that I was banking on being a top 3; it ended up being the 1.1

I gave up Tyreek Hill for this pick and Michael Crabtree.

What are you guys valuing this pick at? Draft seems loaded this year, and a shot at Barkley sounds pretty sweet, but at the same time I have some really nice offers rolling in...

It's pretty easily Barkley for me. I traded my 1st rounders for Jordy Nelson mid-season thinking that put my team into serious contention. Rodgers got injured less than 18 hours later and now I'm in the consolation. I have a very bad feeling I traded Barkley for Nelson and am kicking myself over it.

From what I've been reading it sounds like Barkley is the overwhelming favorite to go 1.1 in all drafts. I would say you made a very good trade! 👍

Even if Barkley tears his ACL I am still taking him 1.01. Hes in a tier by himself.

I would imagine by August he'll be going mid to late first in startup drafts depending on landing spot (similar to zeke). As far as current value, I'm not sure I'd trade it for two mid firsts but for 3 I would

Treat it the same as if you had Fournette, Zeke, or the like of highly valued RBs. If the offers you receive wouldn’t make you move one of them, then pass.

The best part of this trade is tyreek hill was signed at 24m through 2021. First round rookies are automatically 8m per year for 5 years, and Crabtree is on a 5m per year deal through 2019, so I saved a ton of money cap wise.

I was offered Hopkins for 1.01 and Corey Davis which I felt was very fair. Owners are going to be fawning over Barkley and someone is likely to knock your socks off with an overpay.

Is Dalvin Cook + late first decent value for 1.01?

I thought Zeke hype was incredible, so I sold my 1.1 pick for Alshon Jeffery that year. I suppose I would rather have Zeke at this point. But the risk of a rookie is too high for me, so I would trade it again this year. Usually the value of a pick gets to be the highest just before the season, but this time I could see Barkley going to a bad team hurting the value, so if you get a good offer take it. Unless of course your team is already great.

At this point Barkley is the heavy favorite. The big difference between his situation and Zeke's, though, is that Zeke was in a draft class with little other talent. If Barkley lands on the Browns and Guice lands on the Packers (just for the sake of argument), I think there's a legitimate argument then to go Guice. I don't think the talent gap is enough to ignore the situation

I'd hold 1.1 for now unless you're completely blown away. As others have said in different threads, the offers will likely only get crazier closer to the draft.

It’s not an offensive offer, but I doubt it gets you the 1.01.

Haha this is where I was at after reading the original post. Then I saw the second post about his cap space making it a better deal and helped confirm he wanted to brag about this trade.

For the OP. If you actually want help with the offers rolling in on wether you should take them or not you need to post them.
