Who are your favorite flyer / deep sleeper TEs? I’m talking 16 team start 2 TE type flyers.

Higbee count?

Erik Swoope, Maxx Williams? These may be too high profile to count as "flyers" in that kinda league.

I get the feeling someone is going to put Maxx Williams on this list every year until he ultimately announces his retirement. He can't stay healthy and plays on a team with the worst QB in the NFL. Bad combination for success. Not to mention he's never been in the discussion as the best TE on his team either.

I just picked up Jake Butt as my TE, flyer. I also like Jonnu Smith alot, but I limited to 28 rooster spots.

I would assume everyone above would already be rostered in a 16 team league, start two TE ..

Lets see how bare the wire may be, is Michael Roberts of DET or Jeremy Sprinkle of WSH available?

Jeremy Sprinkle is a guy that you may have to react to sooner than later, since WSH went down 2 TE's .. means he is starting to get some playing time ..

But in most of my Leagues I intend to pick up Sprinkle and Roberts into the off season .. both in TE friendly offenses that I could see a path to starting (Reed injuries, V Davis age) and Roberts because Ebron continues to disappoint ..

Here is a headline I came across recently, added it to my curiosity file, I have no idea why or if he is even a move TE, but like I said, its in my curiosity file to research later:

There also was a recent practice squad signing of a TE out of this weekend that showed up in my newsfeed, but I didn't write it down .. If I come across it again or remember I'll post the article ..

Trey Burton is a sleeper TE to monitor should Ertz ever miss time due to injury. He has the athleticism and does get a few targets a game. Past week he picked up a 20 yard TD.
