Pretty much the definition of a trade between a competitor and rebuild team. Pretty equitable. I'm also not big on John Ross.

For real. I'd love to hold the bag on Dez for another 3 years. The homie is in his prime.

You and I are seeing 2 opposites right now with Dez.

Dez has played like 80% of his snaps against Janoris Jenkins, Aqib Talib / Chris Harris, Patrick Peterson, and Trumaine Johnson - literally 5 of the best 8 - 10 CB's in the league and all players that seem to match up well with Dez' size & physicality.

He came out of that 4-game stretch as a WR #2 - what more could you ask for? Sure, it wasn't efficient, but what WR would put up efficient numbers against those CB's?

He's still 28 years old, has a promising young QB that will lock-onto him as a target, and is a red-zone monster on a top10 offense.

Thats all wonderful. Im just going by what my eye tells me about him specifically. Hes never been a good route runner, he relies on boxing the defender out and attacking the ball in the air. He looks slow to me, likely due to the injuries, his hands havent been as reliable, the offense seems to go better when they dont target him alot and he looks like hes beginning the decline at only 28. When he goes off the cliff it will be sudden. And in a league thats difficult to trade in, on a team rebuilding I dont want to get caught holding the bag. Id rather get an ascending talent who I am very high on and sell the player whos value is slowly going down on a rebuilding team. I know hes going to have monster games. But hes also highly capable of losing you a week. And who hes facing does play a part in that too but only a small part.

Just traded away Dez Bryant, got Derrick Henry. My team is in the dumps this year. I want to get out from Dez before he falls off. Just watching him as a Cowboys fan I can see he is not returning to his previous form.

Regardless of what you think of Dez and his future, I think you could have gotten more

In a perfect league maybe. But not my league. And I dont want to be caught holding the bag on Dez. Its coming sooner than you think.

Henry's ascendence may never come though...no matter how soon Dez's cliff hits us.
I would prefer to be caught holding the bag on this one unless it is nonPPR and I am loaded at WR

Yeah you killed those trades.. The first trade in surprised you could even get brown with that, let alone green and rivers on top.

The second I'm just really confused. While cooper is under performing, it's not like Sammy is lighting it up.

did it right at start of the season and i already owned him in another league so i knew what i was buying. he just went for a top 3 2018 1st in another league and i thought that was an overpay for sure. hes prob worth late first early 2nd still at this point
