The Offseason is over and the offseason trade thread is too long. Was looking for an excuse to start this so I'll post a couple of trades I made

I probably gave away Vereen, but I was only going to play him if something happened to Zeke anyway, so I am just protecting against a court surprise.

I wouldn't feel bad about losing value on Vareen, but I'm not sure McFadden insulates you against a loss of Zeke. He's been a weekly inactive and Morris would probably be the lead back. Think you could've gotten Morris for Vareen.

People will probably say you lost value on the Miller trade but I don't. Miller and Murray are close to equal in my book, and Murray isn't a cuff for Henry. People act like last week means Murray will be riding the bench, but if he's healthy he'll still lead the way despite the wishful thinking of Henry's dynasty owners.

I think people are thinking that McFadden is useless because he's been inactive but it's not true. Yes, Morris will get his share of carries if Elliott is suspended but McFadden would get all of the 3rd down work and some 1st/2nd down work. I don't think either Morris or McFadden will be any kind of world beater if Elliott is out but I'd rather have McFadden, mainly because I play only PPR leagues. Also, Morris is on the waiver wire in almost all of my leagues, so you might be able to get him later on anyway.

Yeah, I know McFadden has been inactive. Based on preseason usage I feel pretty confident that McFadden will get the majority of touches if Zeke is out. I assume Morris is active now because he is a better blocker or is better on special teams. Hopefully, we don't find out, and I just drop McFadden in a few weeks after the current appeal gets denied. I have juuust enough concern about it to want to McFadden on my roster for a bit.

Murray has a bad stretch of games going at the moment. I think Henry is more likely to take over than not in the next few weeks, but Murray bouncing back wouldn't surprise me either. I think a late 2nd is about right for the difference between Miller and Murray. I have a bit more confidence in Miller for the rest of the season, and he is 3 years younger. Granted, 1 more year of peak Murray might be better than 3 years of peak Miller, so maybe they are a wash for future production.

I probably lose on production this year, but Ive always been higher than most on Stafford, and am a Raider fan who didn't own Cooper in a single league. More or a personal preference-lateral move than anything, but I prefer to build around passing QBs for the long haul.
