Good buy-low on Newton. I think people are forgetting that he basically rolled up week 1 without much if any practice/throwing. Just because he's out there on game days doesn't mean he's anywhere near 100%.

Good buy-low on Newton. I think people are forgetting that he basically rolled up week 1 without much if any practice/throwing. Just because he's out there on game days doesn't mean he's anywhere near 100%.

I'm the former Cam/Lee owner in this trade. I still think Cam's ceiling is higher than Ryan's, especially with devalued passing stats in this league, but I'm competing for a title and wanted a more stable QB to pair with Brady this year. Truth be told I've never been a big Cam fan and feel like I backed myself into a corner and was "forced" to draft Cam in our startup prior to the '16 season. I shopped Cam to several owners in this league and got no bites, so I was content with getting Ryan for him. Cam has never been a good passer IMO, and as his ridiculous rushing totals decline so does his fantasy value. I think it was a close deal and worked for both Max and I though. I needed a more trustworthy QB2, and Max has something like 19 starting QBs on his team so he can afford to sit on Cam and hope that he rebounds. LOL

Yup. Worked for both imo. Think probably undersold slightly but I am good with getting Cam
I mean Lee helps me at flex that I badly neeed. I was willing to start one of Goff/Bortles in most of the other many other Ryan deals I offered so figured I can wait for Cam to get right...and I think he will. Trubisky might be an option soon too so QB2 wasn't my biggest need to fill in opposite Russell Wilson
