I started 1-4, I'm now 2nd place at 6-4 and looking good for winning again as I have AB

Moral of the story: if you believe in your team, do not give up.

14tm SF first year league. Obviously QBs are very scarce in this format. Began my startup with Luck/Ryan to anchor my QBs, but didn't land a 3rd QB. Also went the sleeper route at TE with guys like Rico/Swoope/McDonald. So for the entire season I've never started 2QBs (had to take a 0 at QB when Ryan was on bye), and have started guys like Dickson/Boyle/O'Leary at TE all year.

Was 13th of 14 at 1-4 and 11th at 2-5. Somehow I've run into favorable matchups and am on the verge of 6-5 and tied for the last playoff spot. I've been unable to come up with a 2nd QB or real TE , so I really don't have a legit title chance. It's just funny though how I've been at such a huge disadvantage in a 14tm SF and now I might make the playoffs having not started 2QBs a single time throughout the season.

So I just noticed this summary of my Fleaflicker leagues:
Image

First team started 0-2 and went to 3-5 before this 4 game win streak.
Second team started 2-3. I had no idea I was on a 7 game win streak until just now.
Third team started 0-2 and went to 2-4 before another nice win streak. Was an orphan that went 10-4 last season so I can't take full credit.
Fourth team started 2-2 and went downhill from there. Another orphan, this one was 5-8 last year.

Just goes to show, don't give up on a slow start. Especially on Fleaflicker.

Update. I almost blew it up mid-season by actively shopping Gronk when I lost several bad games despite being high scoring. Didn't get a good deal so I continued on and ultimately made the playoffs.

Won my last 2 games to make it in the title game.

Ironically it was the 5th and 6th seeds that made it all the way thru.
QB: Lamar Jackson, Matthew Stafford
RB: Dalvin Cook, D'Andre Swift, Chris Carson , Jerrick McKinnon, Alexander Mattisson
WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Michael Thomas, Adam Thielen, Will Fuller, Darius Slayton, Brandon Aiyuk, Keelan Cole,
TE: Evan Ingram, Drew Sample, Cole Kmet

That's where we are at. 5 seed made it and 6 (me) could, but it comes down to Julio since Brown got hurt. I was in the same boat midseason. High scorer with most points against, got the last playoff spot.

It will be the 3rd and 5th seeds in my league. Just need to make the playoffs and be somewhat healthy. At that point anything can happen.
