He's the one year wonder QB the Bears traded up to draft for their team with absolutely zero talent outside of Jordan Howard.

I'd have to somewhat agree with this. The guy can juke the safeties & LBs out of their jocks along with also trucking over them if needed. On top of his football play, have you seen his lifting drills.... the guy is a powerhouse rb that has the break away speed.... I'd say the last time those two abilities were combined and talking about the same player, it was Bo Jackson. I hope the kid continues to play well and makes it through the year as the leading rusher... he has all the tools to make it happen, just needs the o-line to keep doing their jobs as well.

"The next year" kind of hype goes a little too far at times, but this is one of the few times it is actually warranted.

My amateur take is this^. Kid just looks incredible on the field...

I have been setting my rebuild team up hoping to get Fournette and Barkley as my starting RB's. So far I have Fournette, now I just need that team to be bad enough to get the #1 so I don't have to pay an arm and leg.

All I know is these 2 top backs next year better not be the disappointments that Fournette and Cook were this year.

By the time May rookie drafts started, they were were a far cry from slam dunks at 1.01.
