Looking like a rough game so far for Mixon - although I am not surprised as the Steelers D at home likely wants to make a statement. Lets see what the 2nd half brings though. Regardless I have no doubts he'll be a topic for buy low vs. sell high.

Came in needing 6.6 points in a full ppr league. The Bengals are an absolute dumpster fire. It’s embarrassing.

Lol I know how you feel. At this point 1.7 points seems impossible.

Sad thing is Mixon has actually looked good running the ball. They just refuse to feed him. Apparently Dalton is a better option. Lol

Argh and now they're moving the ball and Mixon isn't even in.

Fingers crossed for a cheap short yardage TD here.

I have Mixon vs no one and I am down by .2 points. I literally need anything and I win. Literally, anything positive and I win

Ugh. This is absolutely Todd Gurley in 2016, or David Johnson last year sans the TDs.

Still a great hold or buy in dynasty, but looking like a busted pick for redraft.

Depends on the price. I like Mixon, but people were hyping him up as a top 5 type of guy, and although he does have a 3 down skill set, and athleticism, I never saw it in terms of football IQ, awareness etc. He didn't have the instincts of guys like Chubb, or Cook in the same type of draft range for me. If I can get him for a random first or something, sure, but his situation doesn't look to be getting better anytime soon, and that's a problem when talking about RB's. I would certainly prefer a top 3 pick in next years class over him, personally.

This^

I'm a Bengals fan unfortunately and this line isn't getting better anytime soon. The Bengals have whiffed on a lot of picks over the past few years. You're looking at potentially 2021...

Next year's class looks incredible so I don't blame you on that but I do think the Bengal's offensive line will improve next season. They will be gettign their 2 starting tackles back from injury along with I'm sure a concerted effort to put money in FA into the line along with the draft. The Bengals actually have a pretty nice team on paper but they have 2 GAPING holes on their roster, O-line and Linebackers. I feel pretty good that they only need to address those positions. Lets not forget the Colts when from the worst O-line in football to the best in a single season.

It's looking like a top 3-5 pick next season will be a very hot commodity but if you can flip some older pieces for Mixon I'd be looking to do that. If I wasn't competing I'd love to trade a guy like Fournette, Kerryon ect. Maybe even as high as someone like Julio but I'd have to think long and hard about that one.

My concern right now is that i am competing for the championship this year. Moving Mixon for someone safer for current production is appealing but hard for me to commit to. I made a move to get Melvin Gordon last week so hopefully he will get back involved sooner rather than later. Currently 4-0 so really no need to panic yet.
