Redskins WRs

Postby mzkp54 » Sun Jun 04, 2017 8:22 pm

I think all 3 of Crowder, Pryor, and Doctson are intriguing this year, and potentially long term. I've been getting a lot of (IMO) lowball offers for all 3 across various leagues, and it has me thinking about their value. How would you rank them? What would you give for them? Anyone in particular a buy/sell for you?

Looking forward to any thoughts

I bought Doctson this year. Tried multiple times last year to get him. Ended up giving Parker and 1.12 for Doctson and 1.06. Other owner came to me wanting Parker though. Out of the 3 I prefer him and think he has good upside.

I love the Skins' passing game this year. They've proven to have the volume to keep 3-4 options fantasy relevant, and I think this year will be no different.

Out of all the WRs there, I have Doctson the lowest for the '17 season. I think he'll have his moments but be behind both Pryor/Crowder/Reed in the pecking order. In PPR I'm most excited about Crowder. I think he ends up with 90-100 receptions this year, and unlike a lot of other PPR slot receivers he's shown the ability to score TDs too. I think Pryor can be a 1k receiver this year and I like him too, but if I could only own one of them in PPR I'd want Crowder.

Crowder in PPR and in standard I would go with Pryor. Either format I have Doctson third.

Long term I like Doctson the best! This year it's probably going to be Pryor but I don't see Pryor lasting and being a long term wr option. Doctson will show his moves and move up in the pecking order

Redskins fan and Doctson owner. I think Gruden saw some AJ Green in his game and drafted him for that reason. Long-term he is the one I want. This year probably goes to Pryor although I think both could thrive.

When three WRs and a TE from the same team are going in the first five rounds of dynasty startups, I figure the QB is pegged as a future hall of famer. Does Kirk Cousins strike you as a future hall of famer?

depends on the owner... only one I've got to bite so far was during a startup, for 25.12 (IDP/Superflex so, still a fairly relevant pick) and the rookie 2.10. I would pay up to the 1.05/1.06 for him though. If he were in this rookie class I'd take Davis/LF/Mixon/CMC/and maybe Cook ahead of him and that's it

Crowder-1.6 or 1.7
Doctson- 1.6 or 1.7

I think owners must be anticipating Cousins leaving for San Francisco next year and are looking at Colt McCoy...

Thats extremely cheap for Pryor, he went for a 2018 & 2019 1st in my league from a bottom half team.

I think Crowder and Pryor both eclipse 1,000 yards while Doctson goes for 350 or so. Reed I'm guessing will be in the 750/800 range. (I suspect he'll miss 3/4 games)

I don't want any parts of a receiving core when myself or no one else knows even a little bit how this all plays out. Pryor is a new addition, Jordan Reed is there, Jamison doesn't have a long track record, and Doctson literally hasn't done anything yet. If I did own any of them I'd take the pick compensation or move them for what I can. To add to all the uncertainty Cousins is likely gone in a year.

I'm not saying these guys are worthless, just way too much gamble and risk in knowing who does what and the longevity of it.
