Re: Josh Gordon Thread: Reinstatement (Deja Vu)
I feel like he could go to Detroit and compete for the WR1 job, but that's more of an indictment on their receiver corps than an endorsement of JG. As has been the case for about five years, he's probably not going to put up relevant points for fantasy lineups.

I picked him up for free…with the hopes I can flip him for a future first. Ha

He still lives in Seattle, but is a FA. I've no idea if Seattle is thinking of adding him or not though?

Re: Josh Gordon Thread: Reinstatement (Deja Vu)
Guy was first overall in startups only what, 8 years ago? WR's have longevity. I agree, a first seems light.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 11:22 amA first? Still in his 20’s. Wonder how many more times he can get suspended before he retires?

Re: Josh Gordon Thread: Reinstatement (Deja Vu)
Apologies but he actually 30 now.
Apart from that I was curious to see how he's done when he has played. So here are his total stats from 2017 onward
28 Games
160 Targets
86 Receptions
1498 Yards
6 TDs
On a per game basis that becomes
5.7 targets / game
3 receptions / game
53.5 yards / game
0.21 TD / game
I suppose that is about a 8-9 ppg floor going on those averages
Note: this excludes all stats from before 2 year 2015-16 absence

There was only one possible landing spot he could go that would make people half-interested again.ArrylT wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 1:41 pmConfirmed

And he just landed there.
I can't believe we're riding this train again. What is dead may never die.
