Here's Travis Kelce sounding borderline delirious and starstruck with what he's seen from Flash Gordon thus far in practice this week:
https://twitter.com/ChiefsHighlight/sta ... 5358733316
Is there a yawn emoji?

He'll probably play a handful of snaps. I really thought, and hoped we were done with the teammates gushing over so and so, and beat reporters saying he looks like he's in the best shape of his life etc etc etc when the preseason/training camp ended.

I hope he makes a play on his limited snaps so I can try and flip him to the Chiefs fan in my league. I already got turned down when I offered Gordon and a 4th for a 2nd in a SF, 2 PPR TE premium league with no counter.

On the plus side. This thread is approaching 300 pages. More pages than career receptions for this guy. He may provide some minor tactical advantages in certain situations for the Chiefs, but I am not really sold his FF production will be start worthy.

I like Travis a lot!
But he also hyped Noah Gray and said "He will be a direct help"...
Sure, Gordon is another thing than Gray, but Teammates hype others in most cases. Would be strange when they would not do that.

Gordon is WR2 and Receiver 3 on this team. He will get snaps, he will get looks, but I don't believe, that he will have a big game.

But I may be one of the few Chiefs-Fans, who not get hyped by Gordon :D

People keep saying that as if the offense can't support it. I'm NOT saying Gordon is the guy who will, but if they can find what they've been looking for (and didn't get in Hardman or Watkins), that guy is going to eat.

He is atrocious at playing WR

Who could have guessed that a WR who had been bad in college would still be bad in the NFL--and that running fast in a straight line wouldn't change that?

It's funny to see that JG somehow still has some sliver of a chance of relevance even today. I'm very confident that he won't be a usable fantasy asset, but there's always the potential that we come back to this post in 2 months and laugh at my stupidity.

He is just so enigmatic. I know it was only one season... but goddamn was it a season... I think the mystery of is he still the guy, couple with the fact that he is always in incredible shape keeps people wanting more. I for one really want to see him shine. over his career (which he has never really had the chance to build much chemistry with any QB) he has averaged over 17 yards per catch... which is bonkers

I'd consider it at FLEX in a 16 or maybe even 14 team league if I was desperate.

Definitely keener to wait and see how he looks for real, though - and it sounds like I'm the most optimistic person here, soooo...
Still there? Two games, 1 catch, 11 yards. I tried moving him to a Chiefs fan before his first game for a pick upgrade. It was declined. Feels like a roster clogger to me, but I'm holding just because it's large roster sizes, and the WW is thin.

Nope! Dropped him for Moe Alie Cox this week

Knowing fantasy, of course... this will be the week he goes wild against the Titans "defense"
