He's been out of football for a year. He might be WR1 down the line, but it won't happen this year.

I wonder if there will be enough Gordon hype to buy low on Little.

Weeden needs to and has proven he will throw the ball...look at Blackmon the last 2 wrs. I see Little and Gordon in that same mold.

Much better place than south beach. I think Little is safe and if this kid comes in and works could be the starter and wr2 by end of the season.

But Little derives his value from being the no.1 and having tons of balls thrown to him. If he has a guy who I think is more talented and a better WR, that will harm him.

That's quite possible, but I don't think that talent will turn into productivity this year. Gordon played one year of college football and then had a year off. There will be a lot of learning for him to do. By the time Gordon gets up to speed, I expect Little to have either established himself or gone the way of every other WR the Browns have had in recent years.

I'll ask the question:

Let's assume your league is kinda gay with inexperienced dynasty players, and they're not drafting until after the preseason (yeah. I know.) so Josh Gordon will be part of your rookie/FA draft. Where would you value him in the draft?

Geez, Brownies pay a high price for this kid. Considering I think the Browns will be picking in the top 10 again next year, it's like they almost gave up a late 1st rd pick next year for Gordon. This kid better work out for them or this regime is gonna look worse than it is.

It sounds like no other teams put in a 2nd round bid but I still think the bills would have put in a 3rd if they didn't do the 2nd.

Either way im happy since I have him and he is now on a team that he can compete for a starting role this year.

Don't feel bad. We still had 1 league like this where the commish was dead set on drafting around TC and finishing around pre-season. We got enough people to hound him on an earlier draft so we can start the waiver wire process sooner and he was willing. See if you can get multiple people to bring up the issue.

In terms of value, I'd venture somewhere between after where Floyd & Blackmon go which is around 1.07, to where someone like Reuben Randle has been going which is early to mid 2nd. Anywhere between 1.07 and 2.07 wouldn't shock me, best thing to do is try and watch whatever old film you can on him and figure out how much you like him in comparison to other WR's. Then take into situation where he plays, his situation there, and his past situations the last few years and rank accordingly.

For me personally if I hadn't drafted I'd do a late 1st on him. I'd take Floyd, Blackmon, Wright, & Quick over him. I could make a case to slot him in somewhere after that. Though since you guys haven't drafted I feel like he's going to be over-valued because of the hype surrounding him, so more then likely if you want him you'll need to pick him in the 1st somewhere.
