Scouting college prospects

Has anyone got any tips for watching game film of college prospects? youtubing brings up a compilation of runs/catches, every shot from bizarre close up camera angles, all set to rap music.

Any tips for filtering through the crap?

PS I actually like rap music and I do realize I can mute it.

Matt Waldman: Youtube

His video editing lacks sophistication and he's "relatively" new to youtube (a couple years, not really established) which somewhat makes his videos hard to watch. He has VERY useful analyses on high and low profile players. Defense and offense. He's kind of small so he still does film requests occasionally.

Also, anyone got prospects on any RB's who are probably going in the 2nd/3rd round?

I gave up my 1.10 for Watkins this season... and I need more than 4 RBs haha.

2nd 3rd round of fantasy drafts or NFL Draft?
I'll just throw my 2nd rounder that people aren't talking about, perine. And my fifth rounder people aren't talking about, Kareem hunt university of Toledo.

Yeah, fantasy rookie drafts is what I meant.

Draftbreakdown.com

There will be a ton of games for almost every prospect on there by the time the combine rolls around.

Thanks Neight! Draftbreakdown.com was exactly what I was looking for.

I had a look at Matt Waldman: Youtube but personally looking for straight film rather than analysis but thanks anyway PingPwng

Yeah come check out our database at Draft Breakdown. We do tons of film for the draft including seniors and underclassmen. About every offensive player you've heard of and haven't heard of probably has some tape up there.

If you have any requests send me a message and I'll let you know what's going on with the individual prospect.

Trying to scout players by watching Youtube is not very helpful. Unless you have the coaches film you are watching clips that focus solely on where the ball is at. I guess if you just want to watch RBs you can get some info but trying to break down a QB or WR does not work well.
