Terrance West
Worth a 2nd round pick? Does he have a future in Baltimore or is he just keeping the seat warm for Dixon?

Re: Terrance West
Well, he's top-2 in Baltimore at least. RFA in 2017 so it's hard to know what his future holds with any certainty. It could be West/Dixon next year, or it's possible they let West walk. If I needed an RB to put me over the top and contend for the title in 2016 I'd have no problem giving up a 2nd for West.
But this comes from the perspective of a Dixon owner, and it wouldn't matter to me either way which guy captured the starting job between the two.

Nobody is going to give up a 1st for him, and nobody is going to give him up for a 3rd. So really, a 2nd is about his fair value right now given the uncertainty.

Re: Terrance West
I gave up a first for him in a 16 team league. The guy is balling, maybe it's just for this year, but Dixon hasn't done anything and was a 4th round pick who can't get healthy I'm not going to just assume the backfield is his like people assumed it was Buck Allens and the guy before him, can't even remember his name.KCLep20 wrote:Nobody is going to give up a 1st for him, and nobody is going to give him up for a 3rd. I'm holding him unless I get an offer that blows me away.
My starting RBs at the moment are him and DeAndre Washington.

Re: Terrance West
I just sold him, Zach Miller, and Osweiler for a 17 1st and 18 3rd and I'm ecstatic. I'm in full rebuild, and he's a contender. It's almost guaranteed to be 1.10 or later, but I'm still happy with it.

Re: Terrance West
To a competing team that needs a rb upgrade I would think he would be worth a first round pick all day. I have him in a league where I've been holding him since drafting him as a rookie and I'm on a competing team and would decline a first round pick at the moment. It's about championships, not draft picks. And he could be the guy to help you win one. He's flat out balling out there. And will only get more carries as the season goes on. Especially with flaccid hurting right now

I sold him for Hunter Henry earlier. He's not playing in front of Bell, Gurley, or Forte for me, and Kelce has been disappointing.

Re: Terrance West
Well in a 16 team league where I am a strong contender, just weak at RB, I traded my first for him+a 3rd.
I did it before the game last week and obv the jets game didn't go so well, but I think he will bounce back.
Many in my league thought it was a bad trade for me, so I guess his value is probably a late first to early second.

I like that move. Henry looks really solid!
I think it will be really interesting to see what Baltimore's ground game looks like coming out of the BYE week. No way of knowing exactly how Dixon's knee is feeling at this point, but Harbaugh has said they want to get him more involved. Of course, "more involved" could mean 5-7 carries and 4-6 targets a week and not even move the needle. If Smith Sr. has his ankle right come Week 9, that could benefit the running game as well.
